What it does
This launchpad hook charges owner-set buy and sell taxes on every swap, capped at an unverified maximum, and sends them to the marketing and dev wallets and a liquidity reserve, while LPs can withdraw freely.
How it works step by step
- Launches a single token pool and manages its initial liquidity position through the Uniswap position manager.
- Charges separate buy and sell taxes on swaps, split among marketing, dev, and a liquidity bucket.
- Credits collected fees to wallets, which can later claim them.
- Lets the owner change buy and sell fee splits and update the marketing and dev wallet addresses.
- Swap behaviour
- On each buy or sell, the hook takes a tax from the swap amounts using return deltas. The tax is split between the marketing wallet, the dev wallet, and an ETH-for-liquidity reserve. The exact rates come from owner-set buy and sell fee settings, capped by a hard-coded maximum total fee whose value cannot be read from bytecode.
- Liquidity behaviour
- The hook has no liquidity callbacks, so LPs can add and withdraw freely. The hook itself seeds and may add to its own launch position through the position manager.
- Fee behaviour
- Buy and sell taxes are set by the owner in three parts each and are checked against a built-in maximum total fee (a FeeTooHigh check exists), but the exact cap is unknown. Collected fees are credited to the marketing and dev wallets and to a liquidity reserve, and the credited wallets withdraw them through claimFees.
- Owner & admin controls
- The owner can set buy and sell fee splits up to the hard-coded maximum total fee (exact value not visible) and can change the marketing and dev wallet addresses. Ownership uses a two-step transfer and can be renounced.
Enabled Uniswap v4 callbacks
beforeInitialize, beforeSwap, afterSwap, beforeSwapReturnDelta, afterSwapReturnDelta
beforeInitialize: restricts and records the launch pool setup; beforeSwap: applies the buy or sell tax and can take input tokens; afterSwap: applies the tax on output amounts and records credits; beforeSwapReturnDelta/afterSwapReturnDelta: let the hook deduct its tax from swap amounts.
Security & trust assessment
Risk level: medium, estimated (decoded bytecode, medium confidence).
Who controls it: A single owner controls the fee rates (within an unverified cap) and the recipient wallets. The worst they can do is raise swap taxes up to that cap.
Risk to user funds: The hook can deduct its buy or sell tax from traders' swap amounts, up to the unverified maximum total fee. It cannot touch LP principal, and LPs can always withdraw.
Security findings
- [low] Owner-adjustable swap taxes: The owner can change buy and sell fees, and a MAX_TOTAL_FEE_BPS check limits them. The cap's value cannot be confirmed from bytecode.
- [info] Return-delta fee collection: The hook takes tokens from swaps via return deltas to collect its tax, which is standard v4 fee handling.
- [info] LP withdrawals unrestricted: Remove-liquidity callbacks are disabled, so the hook cannot block or charge LP withdrawals.
