What it does
This hook tracks reference and spot prices and swap volume after each trade in its pool and does not change the fee or the amount a trader pays on swaps, based on the decoded bytecode.
How it works step by step
- Hook is registered only for afterSwap, so it runs after every swap in the pool and cannot gate or modify swaps before execution.
- Tracks a reference price (referenceSqrtPriceX96 / referencePriceWad) and a spot price derived from the pool state, plus lastSqrtPriceX96 snapshots.
- Maintains a volume window and a price window (VOLUME_WINDOW and PRICE_WINDOW getters) that appear to define the observation period for its internal accounting.
- Updates storage slots 0 and 0x3c (uint32 values) and slot 0x54 (address) inside afterSwap, indicating per-swap state bookkeeping.
- Exposes read-only views for pool identity (poolId, poolFee, poolTickSpacing, token, poolManager) and a getHookPermissions function.
- Other liquidity, donate and initialize callbacks are present as selectors in the bytecode but the hook permissions flag only afterSwap as enabled.
- Swap behaviour
- Runs after each swap (afterSwap) and updates internal price and volume state; the decoded bytecode does not show it setting or returning a fee or delta for the swap itself, so the effect on trader cost cannot be confirmed from the input.
- Liquidity behaviour
- No liquidity callbacks.
- Fee behaviour
- Uses the pool's static fee; the hook does not appear to override fees, though a poolFee getter exists and the bytecode was not fully decoded.
- Owner & admin controls
- No admin controls found.
Enabled Uniswap v4 callbacks
afterSwap
afterSwap is the only enabled callback; it is used to update reference price, spot price and volume tracking after each swap.
Security & trust assessment
Risk level: low, estimated (decoded bytecode, medium confidence).
Who controls it: No owner, admin or upgrade functions were identified in the decoded selectors, so no privileged key was found that could change hook behaviour.
Risk to user funds: The hook has no return-delta permissions and no token transfer selectors were identified, so it does not appear able to hold, move or block user or pool funds.
Security findings
- [medium] No verified source: Analysis is from decoded bytecode only, so the exact logic of the afterSwap bookkeeping and any hidden owner-gated paths cannot be fully confirmed.
- [info] afterSwap only, no return delta: The only enabled permission is afterSwap without return-delta flags, so the hook cannot take tokens from swaps or change swap amounts.
- [info] Storage writes in afterSwap: afterSwap writes to slots 0x0, 0x3c and 0x54, which is internal state tracking and not a fund-moving path based on the decoded selectors.
