What it does

A coin launchpad hook that takes a fixed 1% cbBTC fee on every buy and sell, which all traders pay equally, splits it between the platform and the creator or holders, and permanently locks each coin's launch liquidity.

How it works step by step

  • Launches new coins paired with cbBTC in a Uniswap v4 pool, with the whole 1 billion supply deposited as one-sided liquidity owned by the launcher and permanently locked.
  • Takes a fixed 1% fee in cbBTC on every swap: from the cbBTC input on buys and from the cbBTC output on sells.
  • Splits the fee between the platform and the coin creator. The creator share is set per coin at launch and capped at 50%.
  • In holders mode, the creator share goes to coin holders as cbBTC rewards. Otherwise the creator, or a verified X handle, claims it.
  • Only the launcher can create pools or add liquidity with this hook, and only exact-input swaps are allowed.
Swap behaviour
Every swap must be exact-input, and exact-output swaps revert. A fixed 1% of the cbBTC side is taken: off the cbBTC you pay in on buys, or off the cbBTC you receive on sells.
Liquidity behaviour
Only the launcher contract can add liquidity, and third-party adds revert. The launch position is locked forever because there is no code path to remove it. Remove-liquidity callbacks are disabled, so the hook never runs on withdrawals.
Fee behaviour
The LP fee is 0% and the hook charges a fixed 1% of the cbBTC leg of each swap. The creator receives 0% to 50% of that fee (fixed per coin at launch), and the rest accrues to the platform fee recipient.
Owner & admin controls
The owner can set the creator share for future launches (capped at 50% of the 1% fee), the starting market cap within fixed bounds, the fee recipient, and the rune registrar, which signs X-handle fee claims for future coins. The owner cannot change the 1% fee or touch pool liquidity.

Enabled Uniswap v4 callbacks

beforeInitialize, beforeAddLiquidity, beforeSwap, afterSwap, beforeSwapReturnDelta, afterSwapReturnDelta

beforeInitialize: only the launcher can create pools. beforeAddLiquidity: only the launcher can add liquidity. beforeSwap: blocks exact-output swaps and takes 1% of the cbBTC input on buys. afterSwap: collects the fee and takes 1% of the cbBTC output on sells. Swap return deltas: used to deduct that fee.

Security & trust assessment

Risk level: low (verified source, high confidence).

Who controls it: The owner, using two-step ownership, can only adjust future creator shares (up to 50%), the start market cap, the fee recipient and the registrar. They cannot alter the 1% fee or withdraw pool funds.

Risk to user funds: The hook takes exactly 1% of the cbBTC side of each swap and holds the accrued fees until they are claimed. Pool liquidity is locked by design, and no external LP positions exist.

Security findings

  • [info] Fixed 1% swap fee: The fee is a hard-coded 1% of the cbBTC leg of each swap, and no admin can change it.
  • [info] Launch liquidity permanently locked: The full coin supply is deposited as a position owned by the launcher, which has no code path to remove it. This is an intended rug-proof lock, not an LP risk, since no outside LPs can add liquidity.
  • [low] Attestor controls X-routed claims: For coins whose fees go to an X handle, the registrar recorded at launch signs who can claim those creator fees. This relies on the attestor verifying handle ownership honestly.
