What it does

Every trader pays an extra fee, 1% by default and capped at 10%, on the WETH side of each swap, which is shared among the token creator, the platform and allowlisted referrers; WETH exact-output sells are rejected, and LPs can withdraw freely.

How it works step by step

  • Charges a fee on the WETH side of every swap in pools using this hook, 1% by default.
  • The fee is always taken in WETH, never in the project token.
  • Splits the fee between the token creator (50%), the platform (35%) and an allowlisted referrer (15%); without a valid referrer, the referrer share goes to the platform.
  • Fees accrue inside the hook, and each recipient withdraws their share by calling claim.
  • Sells that ask for an exact WETH output are rejected; those sells must be routed as exact-input.
Swap behaviour
Each swap pays an extra fee equal to the current fee rate (1% by default, at most 10%) of the WETH amount. It is taken before the swap when WETH is the exact input and after the swap when WETH is the computed side. Exact-output sells that specify the WETH amount revert.
Liquidity behaviour
No liquidity callbacks; LPs can add and withdraw freely.
Fee behaviour
The hook fee is 1% of the WETH leg by default, and the owner can adjust it between 0.01% and 10%; the pool's normal LP fee still applies separately. The fee is split 50% creator, 35% platform and 15% referrer by default (the split is owner-adjustable and must total 100%), and recipients claim their WETH from the hook.
Owner & admin controls
The FeeConfig owner can set the fee between 0.01% and a hard cap of 10%, and can change the creator/platform/referrer split. The owner can also change the platform vault address and manage the referrer allowlist.

Enabled Uniswap v4 callbacks

beforeSwap, afterSwap, beforeSwapReturnDelta, afterSwapReturnDelta

beforeSwap: takes the WETH fee when WETH is the exact input and blocks WETH exact-output sells; beforeSwapReturnDelta: makes the swapper cover that fee; afterSwap: takes the WETH fee from the computed WETH amount; afterSwapReturnDelta: charges that fee to the swapper.

Security & trust assessment

Risk level: low (verified source, high confidence).

Who controls it: A single FeeConfig owner, using two-step ownership transfer, controls the fee rate (capped at 10%), the fee split, the platform vault and the referrer allowlist. The worst they can do is raise the WETH-leg fee to 10% or redirect the platform share.

Risk to user funds: The hook only takes a fee from the WETH side of each swap, between 0.01% and 10%, and holds that WETH until recipients claim it. LP principal cannot be locked or drained.

Security findings

  • [info] Owner-adjustable fee with 10% cap: The fee is read live from FeeConfig, so it can change at any time, but it can only be set from 0.01% to 10% of the WETH leg.
  • [low] Author notes delta signs are unverified: The source comments warn that the fee-charging math was still pending fork testing, so actual fee collection could differ from the intended 1% in some swap directions.
  • [info] Pull-based fee claims: Fees accrue per recipient and are withdrawn with claim, so a failing recipient cannot block swaps.
  • [info] LP withdrawals unaffected: The hook has no liquidity callbacks, so it cannot block or tax LP withdrawals.
