What it does

A small fee-free hook that checks each swap against a per-pool registered address and time window and may reject some swaps, while LPs can always withdraw freely.

This read was written for the hook 0xe6b7…c080 on Robinhood Chain and reused here: the two share a code shape, so constants such as fees, owners and addresses can differ.

How it works step by step

  • Runs a check before every swap in pools that use it.
  • Each pool is registered with an associated address, stored per pool, through a register function.
  • Has a fixed time WINDOW constant and reads pool state from the PoolManager, which suggests a same-block or short-window swap restriction (for example anti-sandwich or launch protection).
  • Does not take fees or change swap amounts. Liquidity adds and withdrawals are untouched.
Swap behaviour
Before each swap the hook reads pool state and checks against the registered address and a time window. It may revert swaps that break its rule, but it cannot change swap amounts or take tokens. The exact rule cannot be confirmed from bytecode.
Liquidity behaviour
No liquidity callbacks; LPs can add and withdraw freely.
Fee behaviour
Uses the pool's static fee; the hook takes no fee of its own.
Owner & admin controls
There is no visible owner function. A register function links a pool to an address, and a factory-like address is stored. Who may call register cannot be confirmed from bytecode.

Enabled Uniswap v4 callbacks

beforeSwap

beforeSwap: checks each swap against the pool's registered address and time window, and can reject swaps.

Security & trust assessment

Risk level: low, estimated (decoded bytecode, medium confidence).

Who controls it: No owner or upgrade path is visible. The register function sets a per-pool address, and its caller restrictions are unknown.

Risk to user funds: The hook cannot touch trader or LP funds and charges no fee (0%). LP principal cannot be locked or drained.

Security findings

  • [low] Swaps can be rejected: The beforeSwap check may revert swaps during a time window or based on the registered address. The exact conditions are unverified.
  • [info] No fee or fund movement: Return deltas are disabled, so the hook cannot take tokens from swaps or from LPs.
  • [info] Withdrawals unrestricted: The remove-liquidity callbacks are disabled, so LPs can always withdraw.
