What it does

A launchpad hook that takes a capped per-pool fee from every swap and splits it among the token creator, platform and a price-support wall, while LPs can always withdraw freely.

This read was written for the hook 0xf05c…a8cc on Robinhood Chain and reused here: the two run the same code.

How it works step by step

  • Acts as a token-launch hook: a factory registers each pool with a creator, fee settings and a 'wall' (price-support) configuration.
  • Charges a per-pool swap fee (readable via a current-fee view) taken from swaps through return deltas, capped by a hard-coded maximum total fee constant whose value is not visible in bytecode.
  • Splits collected fees between the token creator, the platform, and a liquidity 'wall' (including a 'snowball' wall share), with creators claiming their share later.
  • Restricts pool initialization and liquidity additions to approved shapes and callers (errors like UnauthorizedInitializer and InvalidPoolShape).
  • Rejects partial fills on some swaps, so trades that cannot fully execute revert.
Swap behaviour
On each swap the hook computes a pool-specific fee and deducts it from the swap amounts via return deltas, taking the tokens from the PoolManager and accruing them for creator, platform and wall. Swaps that would only partially fill may revert.
Liquidity behaviour
Adding liquidity is checked by the hook and can be restricted to the configured pool shape or authorized parties. Remove-liquidity callbacks are disabled, so the hook can never block or charge LP withdrawals.
Fee behaviour
A per-pool fee (set at registration and possibly changing over time, e.g. until a graduation tick) is taken from swaps up to a hard-coded maximum constant; exact percentages cannot be read from bytecode. Fees are split by fixed shares among the creator, the platform recipient and a price-support wall.
Owner & admin controls
A factory address (settable via setFactory) registers pools and their creator, fee and wall settings; creators can claim accrued fees. Fee caps are hard-coded constants whose exact values are not decoded.

Enabled Uniswap v4 callbacks

beforeInitialize, beforeAddLiquidity, beforeSwap, afterSwap, beforeSwapReturnDelta, afterSwapReturnDelta

beforeInitialize: only authorized initializers with valid pool settings; beforeAddLiquidity: gates or validates liquidity additions; beforeSwap: computes and takes the fee or wall logic before the trade; afterSwap: settles fees after the trade; beforeSwapReturnDelta/afterSwapReturnDelta: let the hook deduct fees from swap amounts.

Security & trust assessment

Risk level: medium, estimated (decoded bytecode, medium confidence).

Who controls it: The factory setter and the factory control pool registration and fee parameters within a hard-coded cap; creators and the platform receive fee shares.

Risk to user funds: The hook takes a fee portion of swap amounts, up to an undecoded hard-coded cap. LP principal cannot be locked or drained by the hook.

Security findings

  • [medium] Swap fee via return deltas: The hook deducts fees from swaps using return deltas; a maximum total fee constant exists but its value cannot be confirmed from unverified bytecode.
  • [low] Factory controls pool registration: The factory address can be changed and decides pool settings such as fee parameters and recipients at registration.
  • [info] LP withdrawals unrestricted: Remove-liquidity callbacks are disabled, so LPs can always withdraw.
