What it does

This launchpad hook taxes swaps on launched tokens, with early buyers in the anti-snipe window paying a higher, decaying tax, and routes the fees to the creator, holders and protocol, while LPs can always withdraw freely.

How it works step by step

  • Launchpad hook that registers token launch pools (via a factory) and stores per-pool launch info and a tax schedule.
  • Charges a buy/sell tax on swaps using return deltas, with a higher anti-sniping tax right after launch that decays over a snipe window.
  • Collects taxes as pending balances for the creator, holders and protocol, which are later swept to recipients by a fee sweep operator.
  • Checks liquidity additions against the registered launch pool; it has no withdrawal callbacks, so LPs can always remove liquidity.
  • Includes a delayed rescue path (rescue delay) for stuck pending fees.
Swap behaviour
On each swap the hook can take a tax from the swap amounts. The tax starts higher during an anti-snipe window after launch and then settles to a scheduled rate, capped by constants like MAX_TOTAL_BPS and CAP_BPS whose exact values cannot be read from bytecode. A cap window may also limit buy sizes early on.
Liquidity behaviour
Before liquidity is added, the hook validates the pool and may restrict who can add it. Remove-liquidity callbacks are disabled, so LPs can always withdraw freely.
Fee behaviour
Swap taxes follow a per-pool schedule with a decaying anti-snipe start rate. The total is capped by a hard-coded maximum (a FeeTooHigh check exists), but the exact percentages are unknown from bytecode. Proceeds are split between the creator, holders and the protocol fee recipient.
Owner & admin controls
The owner (with two-step ownership transfer) can set the factory, the protocol fee recipient and the fee sweep operator, and can start delayed rescues. Creators can change their own fee recipient; tax rates are set per launch and capped by a hard-coded maximum.

Enabled Uniswap v4 callbacks

beforeInitialize, beforeAddLiquidity, beforeSwap, afterSwap, beforeSwapReturnDelta, afterSwapReturnDelta

beforeInitialize: restricts pools to factory-registered launches; beforeAddLiquidity: validates or gates liquidity adds; beforeSwap: computes the tax and anti-snipe rate and can take it from the input; afterSwap: takes the tax from the output and records pending fees; beforeSwapReturnDelta/afterSwapReturnDelta: let the hook deduct the tax from swap amounts.

Security & trust assessment

Risk level: medium, estimated (decoded bytecode, medium confidence).

Who controls it: The owner sets the factory, the protocol fee recipient and the sweep operator, and can trigger delayed rescues of pending fees. They cannot touch LP principal held in the PoolManager.

Risk to user funds: The hook takes a swap tax of unverified size, capped by a hard-coded maximum, and holds collected fees until they are swept. LP principal cannot be locked or drained, since withdrawals are not hooked.

Security findings

  • [medium] Swap tax via return deltas: The hook deducts a scheduled tax and a higher anti-snipe tax from swaps. A cap check exists, but the exact maximum cannot be confirmed from unverified bytecode.
  • [low] Owner controls factory and recipients: The owner can change the factory that registers launches and can redirect protocol fees. A sweep operator moves the collected fees out.
  • [info] LP withdrawals unrestricted: Remove-liquidity callbacks are disabled, so the hook can never block or charge LP withdrawals.
