What it does
This launchpad hook charges every buy and sell the same fixed fee of up to 10% on the ETH side of the trade and sends it to a treasury, while LPs can add and withdraw liquidity freely.
This read was written for the hook 0xabd1…e0cc on Robinhood Chain and reused here: the two run the same code.
How it works step by step
- Attaches to a single ETH/token pool registered by an approved launcher contract; only that launcher can initialize the pool.
- Charges a fixed fee, set once at deployment and capped at 10%, on the ETH side of every swap (buys and sells).
- Sends the ETH fee straight to a treasury address during each swap.
- Has no effect on adding or removing liquidity.
- Swap behaviour
- On every swap the hook takes a fixed percentage of the ETH amount, either from the ETH input or the ETH output, and sends it to the treasury. The fee is immutable and at most 10%, and buys and sells are charged the same rate.
- Liquidity behaviour
- No liquidity callbacks; LPs can add and withdraw freely.
- Fee behaviour
- A fixed fee, chosen at deployment between 0% and 10% and never changeable afterwards, is charged on the ETH side of each swap and sent to the treasury address. This is on top of the pool's normal LP fee.
- Owner & admin controls
- The owner can set the launcher address once, change the treasury that receives fees, and withdraw any ETH or tokens that are sitting in the hook contract itself. The swap fee rate is immutable and capped at 10%.
Enabled Uniswap v4 callbacks
beforeInitialize, beforeSwap, afterSwap, beforeSwapReturnDelta, afterSwapReturnDelta
beforeInitialize: only lets the approved launcher create the registered pool; beforeSwap with return delta: takes the ETH fee from the input when the trade amount is specified in ETH; afterSwap with return delta: takes the ETH fee from the ETH output when the amount is specified in the token.
Security & trust assessment
Risk level: low (verified source, high confidence).
Who controls it: The owner, using two-step ownership transfer, can redirect where fees go and sweep stray balances from the hook. The owner cannot change the fee rate or touch pool liquidity.
Risk to user funds: Traders pay a fixed ETH fee of 0% to 10% per swap, set at deployment. LP principal cannot be locked or drained by the hook.
Security findings
- [info] Fixed, capped swap fee: The fee is set at deployment, cannot exceed 10%, and cannot be changed later.
- [info] Owner rescue function: The owner can sweep tokens or ETH held in the hook contract itself. Fees go directly to the treasury, so normally nothing sits in the hook, and pool reserves are not reachable.
- [info] LP withdrawals unrestricted: The remove-liquidity callbacks are disabled, so the hook can never block or charge LP withdrawals.
