What it does
A non-custodial afterSwap hook that emits a ValleyPulseSwap event for each swap so off-chain game servers can react to trading activity, without altering prices, fees or balances.
How it works step by step
- Enables only the afterSwap callback; all other hook permissions and return-delta flags are disabled
- Emits one ValleyPulseSwap event per swap containing the indexed pool id and sender, plus direction and token deltas
- Returns a zero hook delta, so swap amounts and settlement are unchanged
- Holds no storage, owner, or admin functions and makes no external calls
- Relies on a CREATE2-mined address to encode its permission bits
- Swap behaviour
- After each swap the PoolManager calls afterSwap, which emits ValleyPulseSwap with the pool id, the router address that called the PoolManager, swap direction and signed settled deltas, and returns a zero delta.
- Liquidity behaviour
- No liquidity callbacks.
- Fee behaviour
- Takes no fee and does not alter pool fees; the hook returns a zero delta and never sets an LP fee override.
- Owner & admin controls
- No admin controls found. The contract has no owner, no pause, no upgrade mechanism, and no setters; the only constructor argument is the PoolManager address, which is immutable.
Enabled Uniswap v4 callbacks
afterSwap
afterSwap: emits a ValleyPulseSwap event carrying the pool id, sender, swap direction and settled deltas for off-chain consumers. No other callback is enabled.
Security & trust assessment
Risk level: low (verified source, high confidence).
Who controls it: There is no privileged key. No party can change behaviour, pause swaps, or extract value through the hook.
Risk to user funds: None. The contract holds no tokens, makes no transfers, cannot return a delta, and does not hold or block user or pool funds.
Security findings
- [info] No return delta permission: afterSwapReturnDelta is false, so the hook cannot alter swap settlement or take tokens; the returned delta is always zero.
- [info] Minimal afterSwap surface: The only callback is afterSwap, which is enabled as a permission bit and runs after every swap in pools using this hook. Because the function has no branches, arithmetic, external calls or storage writes, a revert is not reachable from the hook's own logic.
- [low] Dependence on PoolManager callback path: The hook emits events only and holds no funds. Its effect on pool liquidity is nil, but a bug in the PoolManager interaction or gas griefing of the hook call would still affect swap execution for pools that use it.
