What it does

Taxes swaps of launch tokens in their quote currency, sending a platform share to the tax collector and the rest to the token creator.

How it works step by step

  • Recognises launch pools by checking the token and its quote currency against the launch factory registry.
  • Blocks swaps before the configured trading start timestamp.
  • Withholds a tax percentage on buys (exact input) and sells (exact output) through a before-swap return delta.
  • Taxes the complementary swap direction in after-swap using the realised quote amount.
  • Splits each fee between the platform TaxCollector and the token's fee recipient, emitting CreatorFeesPaid.
  • Restricts pool initialization to the V4LiquidityHelper to prevent graduation front-running.
Swap behaviour
On each swap of a registered launch pool the hook computes a tax from swapTaxBps, takes it from the quote currency via PoolManager, and forwards platform and creator shares; buys are taxed in beforeSwap for exact-input and in afterSwap for exact-output, and sells the opposite way.

Fee behaviour
Charges a swap tax (swapTaxBps from SystemConfig) in the launch quote currency on buys with exact input and sells with exact output (and the inverse via afterSwap); tax is split between a platform TaxCollector share (systemFeeShareBps) and the token's fee recipient; ETH and ERC20 quotes are routed differently.
Owner & admin controls
Hook is not upgradeable and stores no owner; tax rates (swapTaxBps, systemFeeShareBps) and taxCollector are read live from SystemConfig/TokenLaunchFactory, so whoever controls those contracts can change tax parameters and destination for all launches using this hook; beforeInitialize restricts pool initialization to the configured V4LiquidityHelper.

Who controls it: Tax rate, system fee share and tax collector are controlled by the SystemConfig/TokenLaunchFactory owners; changing swapTaxBps to a high value would heavily tax every launch swap, and redirecting taxCollector would redirect platform fees.
