What it does

Charges a volatility-scaled swap fee where part goes to LPs and part is burned by sending tokens to the dead address on every trade.

How it works step by step

  • Maintains a reference price that decays toward the live tick with an 8.5 minute half-life
  • Scores volatility as the tick gap between live and reference price and picks a 1x, 2x or 3x multiplier
  • Overrides the LP fee to 0.30% times the multiplier on each swap
  • Burns 0.10% per side times the multiplier from both input and output tokens by sending them to the dead address via poolManager.take
  • Emits FeeApplied and Burned events and tracks cumulative burns per pool and per token
Swap behaviour
beforeSwap measures the price gap, sets a 1x to 3x multiplier, overrides the LP fee, and takes half the burn from the specified token; afterSwap takes the other half from the unspecified token, and both amounts go to 0x...dEaD.
Liquidity behaviour
No liquidity callbacks.
Fee behaviour
Dynamic LP fee of 0.30% x multiplier (1x, 2x or 3x) set per swap in beforeSwap via the override-fee flag, plus a burn fee of 0.10% per side x multiplier (0.20% total at 1x) taken as return delta and sent to the dead address. Multiplier is chosen from the gap between the live tick and a decaying reference tick: under 300 ticks is 1x, under 950 is 2x, otherwise 3x.
Owner & admin controls
No admin controls found. No owner, no pause, no upgrade path, no parameter setters; all config values are constants or immutable (poolManager).

Enabled Uniswap v4 callbacks

afterInitialize, beforeSwap, afterSwap, beforeSwapReturnDelta, afterSwapReturnDelta

afterInitialize enforces a dynamic fee pool and seeds the reference price; beforeSwap computes the volatility multiplier, overrides the LP fee, and takes the input-side burn via return delta; afterSwap takes the output-side burn via return delta; beforeSwapReturnDelta and afterSwapReturnDelta allow these hook-taken amounts.

Security & trust assessment

Risk level: low (verified source, high confidence).

Who controls it: No privileged keys exist, so no single party can change fees, pause swaps, or move funds. Users rely entirely on the immutable code.

Risk to user funds: The hook takes up to 0.20% (at 1x, up to 0.60% at 3x) of each swap's specified and unspecified token amounts and sends them to 0x...dEaD. Traders receive less output than the pool price implies, and LPs receive the 0.30%-0.90% fee as normal. Hook-taken amounts are computed from the swap amount, so the hook cannot move funds it did not receive through the pool.
