What it does
This launch hook taxes buys and sells on one token pool, charging extra anti-sniping taxes to early traders during the launch window, while LPs can always withdraw freely.
How it works step by step
- Launch hook for a single token pool, configured once by its deployer with the token, quote asset and pool.
- Charges a buy tax and a sell tax on swaps, with separate constants for each direction.
- Applies higher anti-sniping taxes during an initial launch window, in two tiers that step down over time.
- Enforces a temporary max-wallet or price-limit period that ends at a set tick or time.
- Collects the taxes through swap return deltas and forwards accrued amounts to a recipient via a public flush function.
- Swap behaviour
- Each swap is taxed through return deltas, with a higher snipe tax shortly after launch and normal buy and sell taxes afterwards. Early swaps may also be restricted by a max-wallet or price-limit rule until a set end tick is reached.
- Liquidity behaviour
- Adding liquidity is checked before it happens and may be limited to the launch add during the launch window. Remove-liquidity callbacks are disabled, so LPs can always withdraw.
- Fee behaviour
- The buy tax, sell tax and two snipe-tier taxes are fixed constants, but their exact percentages cannot be read from the bytecode. Taxes are taken from swap amounts and held as pending claims, then flushed to a configured recipient.
- Owner & admin controls
- The deployer can call configure once to set the token, quote asset and pool. No other admin setters were found, and the tax rates appear to be constants.
Enabled Uniswap v4 callbacks
beforeInitialize, beforeAddLiquidity, beforeSwap, afterSwap, beforeSwapReturnDelta, afterSwapReturnDelta
beforeInitialize: restricts pool setup to the configured pool; beforeAddLiquidity: gates liquidity adds during the launch window; beforeSwap: applies the snipe or buy tax and launch limits; afterSwap: applies the tax on the output side; beforeSwapReturnDelta and afterSwapReturnDelta: let the hook take its tax from swap amounts.
Security & trust assessment
Risk level: medium, estimated (decoded bytecode, medium confidence).
Who controls it: Only the deployer has privileges, limited to a one-time configure call. There appear to be no ongoing fee or pause controls.
Risk to user funds: The hook can deduct its fixed buy, sell and snipe taxes from swaps, at rates that cannot be verified from bytecode. LP principal cannot be locked or taxed on withdrawal.
Security findings
- [medium] Unverified swap tax: The hook takes buy, sell and snipe taxes through return deltas, but the exact rates cannot be confirmed from bytecode. The snipe tiers during the launch window may be high.
- [low] Launch-time trading limits: A max-wallet or price-limit rule applies early on and ends after a launch window or end tick.
- [info] LP withdrawals unrestricted: Remove-liquidity callbacks are disabled, so the hook cannot block or tax withdrawals.
