What it does
A launchpad hook for a single strategy token pool that taxes trades, burns token-denominated tax, and splits stock-denominated tax between the protocol, the creator and a treasury that buys back and publishes its own trading rules.
How it works step by step
- Charges a flat tax on both buys and sells of the strategy token pool, bounded by hard caps.
- Runs a launch-window snipe tax on buys that decays linearly from a higher rate to the flat rate.
- Applies a time-decaying sell spike after the treasury performs a buyback, with a cooldown to prevent pinning.
- Burns token-denominated tax and splits stock-denominated tax among the protocol, creator and treasury.
- Records a V3-style TWAP observation ring on every swap so the treasury can bound its buybacks.
- Keeps per-role parked balances with a write-down index so issuer burns of hook-held stock lower claims pro rata.
- Swap behaviour
- Exact-input buys are taxed in beforeSwap on the stock side and in the token side via afterSwap, with a launch-window snipe rate that decays linearly to the flat rate. Sells are taxed in afterSwap in the stock, with a spike after treasury buybacks that decays linearly. Treasury swaps are untaxed. Exact-output buys are accepted only at the flat rate; all other exact-output swaps are refused. TWAP observations are recorded on each swap.
- Liquidity behaviour
- No liquidity callbacks beyond beforeAddLiquidity, which only allows the factory or its registered vault to seed liquidity. Removing liquidity is not hooked.
- Fee behaviour
- Tax is taken on the unspecified leg in afterSwap, and an exact-input buy is taxed in beforeSwap on the stock. Buys use a flat rate plus a launch-window snipe decay; sells use a flat rate plus a time-decaying spike after treasury buybacks. Stock-denominated tax is split protocol, creator and treasury; token-denominated tax is burned. Tax is capped at 15% flat, 90% spike, and 99% snipe.
- Owner & admin controls
- Ownership of the factory (read live via owner()) controls per-pool protocol payout address via setProtocol with no delay, and can propose a creator payout takeover via proposeCreator that matures after 14 days unless the creator vetoes; acceptCreator completes it within a 14-day window. Rates, tax rules, treasury and liquidity cannot be changed. No pause or upgrade mechanism found; the hook is immutable.
Enabled Uniswap v4 callbacks
beforeInitialize, beforeAddLiquidity, beforeSwap, afterSwap, beforeSwapReturnDelta, afterSwapReturnDelta
beforeInitialize and beforeAddLiquidity restrict pool creation and seeding to the factory or registered vault. beforeSwap taxes exact-input buys on the stock and enforces partial-fill refusal. afterSwap records TWAP observations and takes the tax via return delta. beforeSwapReturnDelta and afterSwapReturnDelta let the hook take a share of swap amounts.
Security & trust assessment
Risk level: medium (verified source, high confidence).
Who controls it: The factory owner can redirect the protocol payout for any pool at any time, and can propose redirecting a creator's payout after a 14-day delay that the creator can veto. The owner cannot change rates, the treasury, or liquidity. Owner-controlled deny-listing of the hook address by a stock issuer could block all stock-leg payouts.
Risk to user funds: The hook holds stock and token claims from swap taxes and parked payouts for treasury, protocol and creator roles. It can take a share of swap deltas, and taxed buyers and sellers pay the configured rate. Funds can be frozen if the stock issuer blocks the hook; no code path lets the owner seize pooled liquidity or the treasury's funds.
Security findings
- [low] Instant protocol payout redirection: Owner can change the protocol payout address for any pool immediately via setProtocol, redirecting protocol's share of stock taxes.
- [medium] Issuer deny-list can freeze stock payouts: A stock issuer that deny-lists the hook address stops stock-denominated payouts for every pool on that stock; parked balances are preserved but unpaid.
- [info] High configurable tax ceilings: Sell tax can reach 90% for the spike window after treasury buybacks, and exact-input buys can reach 99% during the launch window; both are bounded by constants and documented.
- [info] Exact-output swaps restricted: Exact-output swaps are refused unless they are flat-rate buys, limiting an avenue for under-taxed trades.
- [info] Burn-induced write-down mechanism: Stock balance shortfalls from issuer burns are handled by a pro-rata write-down index, so losses fall on claims present at the time rather than later sweeps.
