How it works step by step

  • Restricts pool initialization to the trading controller and to native/HOODL pairs only
  • Blocks all swaps when the owner has paused the hook
  • Charges a buy tax quoted by the sheriff game contract using a beforeSwap return delta, with transient storage carrying the amount to afterSwap
  • Splits buy tax between a team wallet (with a credit fallback) and the sheriff pot
  • Takes a sell tax of 10% of native output, 1% to team and 9% to sheriff escrow, using an afterSwap return delta

Swap behaviour
Buys (native in) are charged a quoted tax via beforeSwap return delta, with the excess refunded after settlement in afterSwap. Sells (HOODL in, native out) are charged up to 10% of native output via afterSwap return delta and escrowed in the game contract. Exact-output swaps are rejected and trading must be enabled per pool.

Otherwise the pool's static fee applies.

beforeInitialize restricts pool initialization to the trading controller and requires a native/HOODL pair. beforeSwap enforces pause, enables trading via the controller on first buy and applies buy tax via return delta. afterSwap enforces pause and trading-enabled checks, settles stored buy tax and takes sell tax. beforeSwapReturnDelta and afterSwapReturnDelta allow the hook to take currency from swaps.
