What it does

A permissionless launcher that deploys a fixed-supply token and seeds a permanent one-sided Uniswap V4 native-currency pool position, with lpTOKEN vaults that let others deposit and redeem shares of that locked liquidity.

How it works step by step

  • Deploys a new fixed-supply LaunchToken with metadata and mints the full supply to the launchpad
  • Initializes a native/token Uniswap V4 pool with the hook as the only permitted initializer
  • Adds a permanent one-sided launch position in a dedicated LaunchLiquidityVault that can never be withdrawn
  • Creates an lpTOKEN vault seeded with native quote and bootstrap token amount for share-based liquidity
  • Optionally executes a creator initial buy and refunds leftover native currency
  • Distributes accrued launch fees between creator, NAV and treasury under a fixed split
Swap behaviour
No swap callbacks. Only beforeInitialize is enabled; swaps run against the standard pool with the static fee.
Liquidity behaviour
Liquidity is added once at token creation as a permanent one-sided position in the launch vault, with principal locked and never withdrawable. Dust is sent to the dead address. Vault share holders can mint and redeem lpTOKEN shares backed by the vault's position.
Fee behaviour
Pool fee is a fixed product constant (LaunchPoolConfig.LP_FEE) with no dynamic fee. Fees accrued by the launch position are collected through LaunchLiquidityVault and split 40% creator / 60% NAV on the target leg, and 40% creator / 20% NAV / 40% protocol treasury on the counter leg.
Owner & admin controls
The Factory owner can call setLaunchTerms to change startTick and initialLpQuote for future launches only; existing positions keep their pinned terms. The owner can also launch curated vaults and bind the launchpad once. Treasury (not owner) controls proposeTreasury/acceptTreasury rotation. No upgrade path or pause found in the launchpad; the hook itself has no pause and reverts all external initializations by design.

Enabled Uniswap v4 callbacks

beforeInitialize

beforeInitialize: reverts every external initialize call so that only the launchpad's own atomic createToken path can initialize its pools.

Security & trust assessment

Risk level: low (verified source, high confidence).

Who controls it: The Factory owner can change future launch economics (startTick and initialLpQuote) and admit curated pools, but cannot move existing vault assets, pause redemption, or upgrade logic. Treasury holds fee-recipient authority and can rotate itself via two-step nomination. Renouncing ownership freezes launch terms without disabling launches.

Risk to user funds: The hook itself does not hold user funds; the launchpad and vault hold the one-sided launch position and seed liquidity. Principal is locked and not withdrawable by admins. Fee distribution revert paths on NAV transfers could block collection, but no admin can seize funds.

Security findings

  • [low] Owner can retune future launch terms: Owner can change startTick and initialLpQuote for every subsequent launch, altering the starting price and seed size without affecting existing tokens.
  • [info] Native payout retries affect callers: Creator fee claims can be transferred and failed native payouts are retryable, so a creator that cannot receive ETH may have claims stuck until transferred or retried; a hostile recipient's receive() can burn bounded gas during unrelated vault operations.
  • [info] Hook has narrow surface: The hook only restricts initialization; it takes no return deltas and holds no swap or liquidity hooks, so it cannot block swaps or redirect pool funds beyond the launch position it manages.
  • [info] Principal locked in vault: Launch position principal is locked permanently in the vault with no withdrawal path, reducing rug risk on the pool side, but the position's backing depends on the pool state remaining as designed.
