What it does

A liquidity vault hook that pools depositors' tokens into an auto-rebalancing position, charging traders only the pool's normal static fee with no extra swap fees, and an owner-controlled emergency mode.

How it works step by step

  • Acts as a vault: users deposit both pool tokens and receive ERC-20 vault shares representing a pooled liquidity position managed by the hook.
  • Tracks price movements after swaps and periodically rebalances the vault's position range on a fixed interval.
  • Lets share holders withdraw their portion of the managed position by burning shares.
  • Has an owner-triggered emergency mode that halts normal deposits and rebalancing and enables emergency withdrawals.
Swap behaviour
Swaps are not charged extra or blocked by the hook; after each swap it records tick observations and may trigger a rebalance of the vault's liquidity range if the interval has elapsed.
Liquidity behaviour
Direct LPs in the pool are unaffected because remove-liquidity callbacks are disabled. Vault depositors add and remove liquidity through the hook's deposit and withdraw functions, plus emergency withdrawal paths once emergency mode is active.
Fee behaviour
Uses the pool's static LP fee (a fixed LP_FEE constant); the hook takes no separate swap fee, and earned pool fees accrue to the vault position for share holders.
Owner & admin controls
The owner (two-step ownership transfer) can activate emergency mode, which stops normal vault operations. Exact emergency withdrawal recipients and amounts cannot be fully verified from bytecode.

Enabled Uniswap v4 callbacks

afterInitialize, afterSwap

afterInitialize: records the pool and sets up the initial position range; afterSwap: updates price history and runs periodic rebalancing of the vault position.

Security & trust assessment

Risk level: medium, estimated (decoded bytecode, medium confidence).

Who controls it: A single owner can activate emergency mode and halt the vault's normal deposit and rebalance flow. No fee-setting or upgrade capability was found.

Risk to user funds: The hook controls tokens deposited into its vault position; traders pay no hook fee. Ordinary pool LPs can always withdraw, while vault depositors rely on the hook's withdraw and emergency withdraw logic, which is unverified.

Security findings

  • [medium] Vault holds pooled liquidity: Depositor funds sit in a hook-owned pool position that the hook rebalances automatically; share redemption depends on the hook's unverified accounting.
  • [low] Owner emergency mode: The owner can switch on emergency mode, pausing deposits and rebalancing; emergency withdraw functions exist, but whether they pay only share holders cannot be confirmed from bytecode.
  • [info] No swap fee deductions: Swap return deltas are disabled, so the hook cannot take tokens from traders' swaps.
