What it does
An Etchify launchpad hook that permanently locks launch liquidity and charges every buy and sell the same fixed ETH fee of at most 2.5%, paid to the launchpad for the coin creator and Etchify.
How it works step by step
- Only the Etchify launchpad can create pools with this hook, each with a fee fixed once at registration.
- Liquidity can only be added once, during the launch transaction, through the position manager; nobody else can add liquidity.
- Every buy and sell pays a fixed ETH fee of at most 2.5%, sent to the launchpad to split between the coin creator and Etchify.
- Reports each trade's details to the launchpad for tracking.
- No owner and no settings to change after a pool is registered.
- Swap behaviour
- Each swap pays the pool's fixed fee in ETH, taken from the ETH side of the trade: in beforeSwap when the ETH amount is specified, otherwise in afterSwap on the ETH output or input. Buys and sells work through any router with no other restrictions.
- Liquidity behaviour
- Adding liquidity is blocked except during the launchpad's seeding moment via the position manager; launch liquidity is held by a dead address and effectively permanent. The hook has no remove-liquidity callbacks, so it cannot itself block withdrawals, but the launch positions are owned by 0x...dEaD so no one can remove them.
- Fee behaviour
- A per-pool fee of 0% to 2.5% of the ETH amount, fixed once at pool registration and never changeable. The fee is sent to the launchpad, which splits it between the coin creator and Etchify.
- Owner & admin controls
- The launchpad contract can register each pool's fee once (capped at 2.5%) and open the one-time liquidity seeding window. There is no owner and fees cannot be changed after registration.
Enabled Uniswap v4 callbacks
beforeInitialize, beforeAddLiquidity, beforeSwap, afterSwap, beforeSwapReturnDelta, afterSwapReturnDelta
beforeInitialize: only the launchpad can create registered pools; beforeAddLiquidity: allows liquidity only during launch seeding; beforeSwap: takes the fee when ETH is the specified amount; afterSwap: takes the fee on the ETH side otherwise and notifies the launchpad; beforeSwapReturnDelta/afterSwapReturnDelta: deduct the ETH fee from the swap.
Security & trust assessment
Risk level: low (verified source, high confidence).
Who controls it: The launchpad contract is the only privileged caller; it can register a pool's fee once (max 2.5%) and open the seeding window. It cannot change fees afterwards, pause swaps, or take pool reserves.
Risk to user funds: The hook takes only the 0% to 2.5% ETH fee from each swap and forwards it to the launchpad. It holds no funds and cannot drain pool reserves; launch liquidity is intentionally permanent.
Security findings
- [info] Hard fee cap of 2.5%: Fee is set once per pool and the code rejects anything above 2.5%; it cannot be changed later.
- [info] Liquidity permanently locked: Launch liquidity is owned by a dead address and third parties cannot add liquidity, so there are no outside LPs; this is by design for the launchpad.
- [low] Swaps depend on launchpad callback: Each swap calls the launchpad's onSwap; if that contract reverted, swaps would fail. The launchpad is a fixed address set at deployment.
