What it does
Every swap pays the same fixed hard-coded fee (exact rate unverified) that goes to a treasury address, while LPs can add and withdraw liquidity freely with no admin able to change anything.
This read was written for the hook 0x194b…40cc on Robinhood Chain and reused here: the two share a code shape, so constants such as fees, owners and addresses can differ.
How it works step by step
- Charges a fixed fee on swaps, defined by a hard-coded constant (FEE_BPS) whose exact value is not readable from the decoded selectors.
- Takes the fee out of the swap amounts using swap return deltas and sends it to a fixed treasury address via the PoolManager.
- Has no storage and no owner functions, so the fee rate and treasury appear to be fixed at deployment.
- Never runs on liquidity adds or removals, so LPs can deposit and withdraw freely.
- Swap behaviour
- On each swap the hook runs before and after the trade and deducts a fixed-percentage fee from the swap's input or output, sending it to the treasury. The exact fee percentage cannot be confirmed from bytecode alone.
- Liquidity behaviour
- No liquidity callbacks; LPs can add and withdraw freely.
- Fee behaviour
- A constant fee (FEE_BPS, value not visible in decoded data) is taken from each swap and transferred to a hard-coded treasury address, on top of the pool's normal LP fee. The rate cannot be changed after deployment.
- Owner & admin controls
- No admin controls found; the treasury and fee rate are constants with no setter functions and no storage.
Enabled Uniswap v4 callbacks
beforeSwap, afterSwap, beforeSwapReturnDelta, afterSwapReturnDelta
beforeSwap: computes or applies the fee before the trade; afterSwap: finalizes fee collection after the trade; beforeSwapReturnDelta: lets the hook adjust the swap input amount; afterSwapReturnDelta: lets the hook deduct the fee from the swap output.
Security & trust assessment
Risk level: medium, estimated (decoded bytecode, medium confidence).
Who controls it: No privileged keys exist; the treasury address only receives fees and cannot change hook behaviour.
Risk to user funds: The hook can only take a fixed swap fee of unverified size from traders' swap amounts; LP principal cannot be locked or drained and withdrawals are unrestricted.
Security findings
- [low] Fee rate not verifiable: The fee is a hard-coded constant that cannot be read from the decoded selectors, so traders should check the effective fee on a quote before swapping.
- [info] Immutable, no admin: There is no owner, no storage, and no proxy, so nobody can change the fee or treasury after deployment.
- [info] LP withdrawals unrestricted: Liquidity callbacks are disabled, so the hook cannot block or charge LP withdrawals.
