What it does

A self-contained token launch hook that charges every buyer and seller a flat, unchangeable 1% in ETH, sends 65% to the creator and 10% to the platform, and locks 25% as permanent buy-side liquidity below the price, while LPs keep full freedom to withdraw.

This read was written for the hook 0xa83b…60cc on Robinhood Chain and reused here: the two share a code shape, so constants such as fees, owners and addresses can differ.

How it works step by step

  • The hook is also the token itself: a fixed 1 billion coin supply, minted once to the launch factory, with no further minting, no transfer tax, no pause and no blocklist.
  • Charges a flat 1% fee on the ETH side of every buy and sell in its own ETH/coin pool.
  • Splits each fee 65% to the creator, 10% to the platform, and 25% to a 'ballast' reserve.
  • Anyone can periodically put the ballast ETH into the pool as permanent buy-side liquidity placed 10% to 50% below the current price. The hook has no code to remove it.
  • Only the factory can open the single home pool (ETH/coin, 0 pool fee, tick spacing 1); other pools using this hook are refused.
Swap behaviour
Every swap pays 1% of its ETH amount. The fee is taken from the ETH you send on buys or from the ETH you receive on sells, and is computed before or after the swap depending on which amount you specified. Swaps that name an exact ETH amount must fill completely or they revert.
Liquidity behaviour
No liquidity callbacks, so LPs can add and withdraw freely. The hook only adds its own permanent ETH-only positions of at most 0.02 ETH each, at most once every 60 seconds, and never removes them.
Fee behaviour
A fixed 1% fee on the ETH side of every swap, hard-coded and unchangeable; the pool's own LP fee is 0. The fee is split 65% to the creator (wright), 10% to the platform (yard), and 25% to the ballast, which is later added to the pool as permanent liquidity.
Owner & admin controls
No admin controls found. Ownership is renounced in the constructor, and the creator and platform addresses are fixed; they can only withdraw their own accrued fee shares.

Enabled Uniswap v4 callbacks

beforeInitialize, beforeSwap, afterSwap, beforeSwapReturnDelta, afterSwapReturnDelta

beforeInitialize: allows only the factory to create the one canonical home pool; beforeSwap: notes the block's starting price and takes the 1% fee when the ETH amount is specified up front; afterSwap: takes the 1% fee from the actual ETH moved when the coin amount was specified; beforeSwapReturnDelta/afterSwapReturnDelta: let the hook take that 1% ETH fee out of the swap and hold it as claims in the PoolManager.

Security & trust assessment

Risk level: low (verified source, high confidence).

Who controls it: No one holds admin keys. The creator and platform addresses can only withdraw their own fee balances, which are capped by the fees actually collected.

Risk to user funds: The hook takes exactly 1% of the ETH side of each swap and nothing more. It cannot touch LP withdrawals, so LP principal cannot be locked or drained.

Security findings

  • [info] Fixed 1% fee: The fee is a hard-coded 1% of the ETH side of each swap, with no way to change it or switch it off.
  • [info] Immutable, ownerless contract: Ownership is renounced at deployment, the contract is not a proxy, and it has no pause, blocklist or changeable addresses.
  • [info] Permanent hook-owned liquidity: 25% of fees is locked forever as buy-side liquidity below the price. This is hook-owned ETH, not LP principal, and each addition is capped at 0.02 ETH.
