What it does

This launch hook charges both buys and sells an ETH fee of up to 20% that only ever decreases, while players with earned game vouchers trade cheaper (down to 0%), and LPs earn no swap fee but can withdraw freely.

How it works step by step

  • Runs skill-gated token launches on native ETH/token pools where both buys and sells pay a default fee of up to 20%, charged in ETH.
  • Players who earn a signed voucher in an archery mini-game can trade at a lower fee (as low as 0%), once per voucher, within per-trade and hourly size caps that grow with pool age.
  • The pool registrar can only lower the default buy or sell fee, never raise it; setting it to zero permanently makes that direction fee-free.
  • Collected ETH fees are held as claims in the Uniswap PoolManager and only the per-pool fee recipient can withdraw them.
  • Pools use a 0% LP fee, so LPs earn no swap fees from this hook.
Swap behaviour
Buys pay the default buy fee on the ETH input and sells pay the default sell fee on the ETH output (each set at registration, max 20%), unless a valid voucher bound to the trader's wallet is supplied for a lower fee. Voucher trades must be exact-input and within size caps, and fee-charged swaps that only partially fill revert; trades without a voucher are never size-capped.
Liquidity behaviour
No liquidity callbacks; LPs can add and withdraw freely.
Fee behaviour
Default buy fee is 0.01% to 20% and default sell fee is 0% to 20%, set at registration and only ever lowered by the registrar; voucher fees range from 0% up to the current default. All fees are taken in ETH and accrue to the pool's fee recipient, and the pool's LP fee is fixed at 0%.
Owner & admin controls
Per pool, the registrar can lower (never raise) default buy/sell fees and rotate the voucher signer; the fee recipient can hand off its role via a two-step propose/accept. There is no global owner and no pause.

Enabled Uniswap v4 callbacks

beforeInitialize, beforeSwap, afterSwap, beforeSwapReturnDelta, afterSwapReturnDelta

beforeInitialize: only the registrar can create the pool and records launch time; beforeSwap: validates vouchers, enforces caps and takes the fee on buy inputs or exact-output sells; afterSwap: charges fees on exact-input sells and exact-output buys and checks full fills; beforeSwapReturnDelta/afterSwapReturnDelta: deducts the ETH fee from the swap.

Security & trust assessment

Risk level: medium (verified source, high confidence).

Who controls it: Each pool's registrar and fee recipient hold limited powers: the registrar can only lower fees and change the voucher signer, and the recipient can only claim fees. Nobody can raise fees, pause trading, or touch LP funds.

Risk to user funds: The hook takes 0% to 20% of the ETH side of each swap as a fee; it never touches LP principal and LPs can always withdraw.

Security findings

  • [low] High default trading fee: Default buy and sell fees can be up to 20% each, above the 10% low-risk threshold, but they are capped at registration and can only be lowered afterward.
  • [info] Off-chain signer controls discounts: A game-server signer decides who gets discounted vouchers; it cannot set fees above the default and is limited by per-trade and hourly caps.
  • [info] LP withdrawals unrestricted: Remove-liquidity callbacks are disabled, so the hook cannot block or charge LP withdrawals.
  • [info] Smart wallets cannot use vouchers: Vouchers are bound to tx.origin, so contract wallets always pay the default fee.
