What it does

A Uniswap v4 hook for tokenized-stock launch pools that skims a fixed 1% protocol fee from buys (paid in the stock token) and forwards it to a fee collector, while keeping swaps and liquidity permissionless.

How it works step by step

  • Charges a fixed 1% fee on stock-side buys, applied via beforeSwap for exact-input and afterSwap for exact-output swaps.
  • Takes fee tokens from the PoolManager when it has enough balance, otherwise mints ERC-6909 claims so a swap never reverts.
  • Realises deferred claims on the next trade of that pool or via permissionless settleFees/settleAllFees.
  • Forwards collected fees to the FeeCollector via recordFee.
  • Tracks protocol-wide and per-token volume, stock locked (TVL), fees and active pools by day bucket.
Swap behaviour
On buys, a 1% fee on the stock side is taken: exact-input buys in beforeSwap, exact-output buys in afterSwap. Sells are untaxed. Volume, locked stock and fees are metered in afterSwap from realised deltas. Swaps revert only if the pool does not pair against TokenizedStock.
Liquidity behaviour
No liquidity callbacks. beforeAddLiquidity, afterAddLiquidity, beforeRemoveLiquidity and afterRemoveLiquidity all revert with HookNotImplemented. The hook does not gate or account for LP positions; locking LP NFTs is handled outside this contract. stockLockedOf and totalStockLocked are updated from swap deltas only.
Fee behaviour
Charges a fixed 1% protocol fee (PROTOCOL_FEE_BPS = 100) on the TokenizedStock side of buys only; sells are untaxed. Exact-input buys are charged in beforeSwap via a positive specified delta, exact-output buys in afterSwap via a positive unspecified delta. Fees are taken from the pool with poolManager.take when the singleton holds enough stock, otherwise minted as ERC-6909 claims and realised on a later trade or via settleFees/settleAllFees. The LP fee override returned is 0, so pools use their static fee.

No admin controls found. No owner, pause, upgrade or parameter setter; PROTOCOL_FEE_BPS is a constant of 100 (1%). feeCollector and tokenizedStock are immutable, set at construction.

beforeSwap: charges the 1% fee on exact-input buys, realises deferred claims, and returns a specified-currency delta to pay the fee. afterSwap: meters volume, TVL and fees from realised deltas, charges the fee on exact-output buys by returning an unspecified-currency delta. beforeSwapReturnDelta and afterSwapReturnDelta: enable the hook to take fee value from the swapper through these returned deltas.

Security & trust assessment

Risk level: low (verified source, high confidence).

Who controls it: No privileged role exists in the code, so no single key can change fees, pause swaps or move funds. Centralization risk sits in the immutable feeCollector address: the hook grants it an infinite approval of TokenizedStock and pushes fees to it via recordFee. If that collector is compromised or malicious, it could drain the fees that flow through it. The fee rate and destination cannot be changed by anyone.

Risk to user funds: The hook can take a fixed 1% of stock on buys and can hold ERC-6909 claims and briefly some TokenizedStock from fee settlement. It cannot block swaps (no revert path in beforeSwap or afterSwap except PoolMustPairTokenizedStock for non-stock pools), cannot change the fee, and cannot withdraw LP positions. Pool liquidity is not directly controlled by the hook.

Security findings

  • [medium] Infinite approval to FeeCollector: The hook calls forceApprove(feeCollector, type(uint256).max) on TokenizedStock at construction. Any balance of TokenizedStock the hook holds is exposed to whatever feeCollector does with transferFrom, though the hook itself pushes tokens via recordFee pulls.
  • [low] Permissionless fee settlement timing: settleFees and settleAllFees are permissionless and call poolManager.unlock, but settlement only forwards claimed fee value to the collector. Timing of realisation depends on pool reserves, so fee accounting can be delayed by anyone choosing when to call it.
  • [info] Hook takes value via return deltas: Fees are taken in beforeSwap and afterSwap through returned hook deltas, so the hook can extract value from every buy. The fee is fixed and capped at 1%, and sells are never taxed, which bounds the extraction.
  • [info] Immutable, no admin: No owner, admin, pause or upgrade mechanism exists. Fee constant and immutable dependencies cannot be altered after deployment.
