What it does
This hook takes an apparently fixed fee from every swap and sends it to a fee sink, while LPs can add and withdraw liquidity freely.
How it works step by step
- Charges a fee on swaps (a value exposed as feeBps) and takes it out of the swap using return deltas.
- Sends the collected fee to a fee sink address and notifies it through a fee callback.
- Pool creation is checked in beforeInitialize, apparently against a factory address set once by an admin.
- Exposes a community router address, which may receive special handling on swaps.
- Has no liquidity callbacks, so LPs add and withdraw freely.
- Swap behaviour
- Before and after each swap the hook can adjust swap amounts to take a fee in one of the pool tokens and send it to the fee sink. The exact fee rate and whether router trades are treated differently cannot be confirmed from bytecode.
- Liquidity behaviour
- No liquidity callbacks; LPs can add and withdraw freely.
- Fee behaviour
- Takes a hook fee set by a feeBps value, sent to the fee sink. That value appears to be fixed (it is not in storage), but its exact percentage is unknown from bytecode.
- Owner & admin controls
- An admin can set the factory address once (a second attempt fails with an AlreadySet error). No function to change the fee or the fee sink was found.
Enabled Uniswap v4 callbacks
beforeInitialize, beforeSwap, afterSwap, beforeSwapReturnDelta, afterSwapReturnDelta
beforeInitialize: restricts which pools can use the hook (likely factory-gated); beforeSwap: prepares or takes the fee before the swap; afterSwap: takes the fee from the swap result; beforeSwapReturnDelta/afterSwapReturnDelta: let the hook deduct the fee from swap amounts.
Security & trust assessment
Risk level: medium, estimated (decoded bytecode, medium confidence).
Who controls it: An admin key can only set the factory address, and only once. No pause, fee-change, or recipient-change functions were found.
Risk to user funds: The hook takes a portion of swap amounts as its fee; the exact rate is unknown but appears fixed. LP principal cannot be locked or drained.
Security findings
- [low] Unverified swap fee via return deltas: The hook deducts a fee from swaps using return deltas and pulls it out to the fee sink. The fee rate looks immutable, but its value cannot be verified from bytecode.
- [info] One-time factory setter: The admin can set the factory address only once. It appears to control which pools can initialize with this hook.
- [info] LP withdrawals unrestricted: Remove-liquidity callbacks are disabled, so the hook can never block or charge LP withdrawals.
