What it does

Every swap, buy or sell, pays a flat 1% tip in ETH that is split between the artist, hall and label, while liquidity providers are untouched by any hook logic.

This read was written for the hook 0x79ff…e0cc on Robinhood Chain and reused here: the two share a code shape, so constants such as fees, owners and addresses can differ.

How it works step by step

  • Acts as the ERC20 token of its own Uniswap v4 pool, minting a fixed one billion supply to the Stage at construction and never minting again
  • Assigns a flat 1% tip on every swap's ETH side, computed in beforeSwap for ETH-specified legs and in afterSwap for chord-specified legs
  • Books each tip as an ERC-6909 claim on the PoolManager and splits it into three tills: 80% artist, 10% hall, remainder to label
  • Lets only the till payee call cashOut, which burns the claim and takes native ETH to that payee
  • Refuses liquidity callbacks, so liquidity providers add and remove positions through Uniswap without hook interference
  • Stores name, symbol, image, about, link and twitter at construction and assembles contractURI on-chain from them
Swap behaviour
Every swap pays a 1% tip taken from its ETH side, so buyers paying ETH and sellers receiving ETH both pay the same 1%; the tip is returned as a hook delta and the amount is slightly grossed up so the net ETH matches the request.
Liquidity behaviour
No liquidity callbacks; the hook reverts if liquidity callbacks are invoked, so adding and removing liquidity is unaffected.
Fee behaviour
A fixed 1% tip (TIP_BPS = 100) on ETH flow, booked to the artist, hall and label tills; the pool's own fee is set to 0 at the required canonical key.
Owner & admin controls
Ownership is renounced in the constructor so owner() returns the zero address; there is no pause, upgrade, blocklist or parameter change. Payee addresses are immutable and only each payee can withdraw their own till.

Enabled Uniswap v4 callbacks

beforeInitialize, beforeSwap, afterSwap, beforeSwapReturnDelta, afterSwapReturnDelta

beforeInitialize restricts the single home pool to the Stage and the canonical key; beforeSwap and afterSwap compute and book the 1% tip; beforeSwapReturnDelta and afterSwapReturnDelta let the hook take the tip out of the swap amounts.

Security & trust assessment

Risk level: low (verified source, high confidence).

Who controls it: No privileged key remains after construction; the immutable payee addresses are the only fixed beneficiaries and they cannot be changed.

Risk to user funds: The hook holds the ETH tip as PoolManager claims and pays it out only to the three immutable payees via cashOut; it cannot pause, freeze or redirect user funds.

Security findings

  • [info] Hook takes a fixed tip through return deltas: beforeSwap and afterSwap return a delta equal to the 1% tip, so every swap's ETH settlement is reduced by that amount and credited to the hook as an ERC-6909 claim.
  • [low] Swaps revert on unexpected amounts: afterSwap reverts with Unfilled if an ETH-specified leg is not filled exactly as expected, so partially filled ETH-specified swaps cannot complete.
  • [info] Owner renounced at construction: The constructor calls renounceOwnership in the same transaction, so no privileged key exists to change fees or block trades.
