What it does

A single-pool launch hook that charges every swap a fixed fee set at deployment (paid in the input or quote token), sends it to the launch collector with an optional treasury cut, runs a clamped price oracle, and limits liquidity changes to the launch's locked positions.

This read was written for the hook 0xa7ac…dafc on Robinhood Chain and reused here: the two share a code shape, so constants such as fees, owners and addresses can differ.

How it works step by step

  • Charges a fixed hook fee on swaps of a single launch-token pool, taken either from the input token or only from the quote token depending on the fee mode set at deployment.
  • Holds collected fees as Uniswap v4 claims and lets only the registered fee collector redeem them; an optional treasury share goes to a fixed protocol treasury.
  • Records a manipulation-resistant price oracle that limits how far the stored price can move per observation.
  • Restricts liquidity changes to the launch's permanent liquidity locker until the opening completes, and optionally forever if external liquidity is disabled.
  • Checkpoints locked LP fees during swaps and donations so the locked positions' fee accounting stays safe.
Swap behaviour
Each swap pays the hook fee, which is the fixed rate set at deployment applied to the specified amount up front or to the output/other side afterward; exact-amount swaps must fill fully or they revert. The fee rate cannot change after deployment, and swaps are not paused or allowlisted.
Liquidity behaviour
Before opening completes, only the launch liquidity locker can add or remove liquidity; afterward anyone can unless the deployment disabled external liquidity, in which case only the locker can. The locker's launch liquidity is designed to stay permanently locked, so it is not withdrawable.
Fee behaviour
A hook fee fixed at deployment (any value from 0% up to a 100% constructor limit; the exact rate for this pool is not visible here) is taken from the fee currency of every swap, on top of the pool's static LP fee. Fees go to the registered collector, with an optional treasury cut of between 12.5% and about 31% of fees when a protocol denominator of 4 to 10 is configured.
Owner & admin controls
There is no owner. The registrar can bind the collector once and mark the opening complete once. Fee rate, treasury, fee mode and the liquidity restriction are immutable constructor values.

Enabled Uniswap v4 callbacks

afterInitialize, beforeAddLiquidity, beforeRemoveLiquidity, beforeSwap, afterSwap, beforeDonate, afterDonate, beforeSwapReturnDelta, afterSwapReturnDelta

afterInitialize: allows only the planned registrar and opening price and starts the oracle; beforeAddLiquidity/beforeRemoveLiquidity: gate liquidity changes to the locker during opening or when external liquidity is disabled, and record oracle data; beforeSwap with return delta: precharges the fee on the specified amount and checkpoints locker fees; afterSwap with return delta: checks for an exact fill and charges the fee on the unspecified side; beforeDonate/afterDonate: checkpoint locked LP fees.

Security & trust assessment

Risk level: medium, estimated (decoded bytecode, medium confidence).

Who controls it: The registrar does one-time setup only: it binds the collector and completes the opening. No one can change fees or recipients afterward.

Risk to user funds: Traders pay the fixed hook fee set at deployment, which can be anywhere from 0% to 100% by constructor limits, on each swap. Launch liquidity is permanently locked by design, and outside LPs may be blocked from adding or removing liquidity depending on configuration.

Security findings

  • [medium] Fee rate fixed but cap is up to 100%: The constructor only requires the hook fee to be at most 100%. The fee is immutable after deployment, but the rate for this pool must be checked on-chain.
  • [medium] Liquidity removal can be gated: beforeRemoveLiquidity reverts for anyone other than the locker before opening completes, or permanently if external liquidity is disabled. Outside LPs mainly cannot add in those cases, so in practice the restriction mostly limits who can provide liquidity.
  • [info] No owner or upgradeability: The contract is not a proxy and has no owner. Fees can only be redeemed by the collector, which is bound once, and only tracked fees are redeemed.
