What it does
Every buy and sell on the ETH/OCARDS pool pays a fixed 1% ETH fee (buy fees to OCARDS stakers, sell fees to card holders), buyers earn a card NFT per 1,000 OCARDS, and LPs can withdraw freely.
How it works step by step
- Blocks all swaps until the owner calls a one-time enableTrading, which can include a capped first buy of up to 0.1 ETH by the deployer.
- Takes exactly 1% of the ETH side of every swap, buys and sells, exact-in and exact-out.
- Sends buy fees to the OCARDS StakingVault (token stakers) and sell fees to CardYield (card NFT holders), forwarding everything in the same transaction.
- Mints one Forged Cards NFT per whole 1,000 OCARDS bought, up to a 2,222 total supply, to the address in hookData or else the transaction signer.
- Only works with one fixed ETH/OCARDS pool (0.3% LP fee, tick spacing 60); other pools using this hook cannot swap.
- Swap behaviour
- Swaps revert until trading is enabled; afterwards every swap pays an extra 1% of its ETH leg (buyers pay 1% more ETH, sellers receive 1% less ETH) on top of the 0.3% LP fee. Buys of 1,000+ OCARDS also mint card NFTs to the buyer.
- Liquidity behaviour
- No liquidity callbacks; LPs can add and withdraw freely.
- Fee behaviour
- A fixed, hard-coded 1% of the ETH amount on every swap goes to the StakingVault on buys and to CardYield on sells; the pool's standard 0.3% LP fee goes to LPs. Nobody can change the 1% rate.
- Owner & admin controls
- The owner can only call enableTrading once (with an optional first buy capped at 0.1 ETH) and transfer or renounce ownership. Fee rate, recipients, and pool are immutable.
Enabled Uniswap v4 callbacks
beforeSwap, afterSwap, beforeSwapReturnDelta, afterSwapReturnDelta
beforeSwap: enforces the trading gate and pool check and charges 1% when ETH is the specified amount; afterSwap: charges 1% when ETH is the unspecified amount, forwards fees and mints NFTs on buys; beforeSwapReturnDelta: lets the fee be taken from the specified ETH amount; afterSwapReturnDelta: lets the fee be taken from the unspecified ETH amount.
Security & trust assessment
Risk level: low (verified source, high confidence).
Who controls it: The owner's only power is a one-time enableTrading call; before it is called, no one can trade. After that, the hook has no adjustable settings.
Risk to user funds: The hook takes exactly 1% of each swap's ETH leg and forwards it to the staking and card-yield contracts; it holds no balances. LP withdrawals are never touched by the hook and cannot be blocked.
Security findings
- [info] Fixed 1% ETH fee: The fee is a constant 1% of the ETH leg with immutable recipients; no admin can raise it or redirect it.
- [info] One-shot trading gate: Swaps revert until the owner enables trading; once enabled it cannot be turned off, and the deployer's first buy is capped at 0.1 ETH.
- [info] NFT recipient fallback to tx.origin: If hookData does not contain a valid address, cards go to the transaction signer, so smart-wallet users via relayers may see cards land at the relayer.
