What it does

This hook simply records each swap into a randomness value used for Kaomoji NFT minting, charging no extra fees and leaving all trades and LP withdrawals unaffected beyond the pool's normal static fee.

How it works step by step

  • After every swap, mixes swap details (sender, amounts, direction, block randomness, timestamp, swap count) into a rolling entropy value.
  • The Kaomoji token reads this entropy when minting NFTs to make trait outcomes hard to predict in advance.
  • Keeps a public lifetime swap counter.
  • Takes no fees and moves no tokens; swaps and liquidity work like a normal Uniswap v4 pool.
Swap behaviour
After each swap the hook updates its internal entropy value and swap counter and emits an event. It does not change prices, amounts, or fees, and does not restrict who can trade.
Liquidity behaviour
No liquidity callbacks; LPs can add and withdraw freely.
Fee behaviour
Uses the pool's static fee. The hook takes no fee of its own.
Owner & admin controls

Enabled Uniswap v4 callbacks

afterSwap

afterSwap: records swap data into the entropy accumulator used for NFT trait randomness.

Security & trust assessment

Risk level: low (verified source, high confidence).

Who controls it: No one holds privileged keys over this hook. Its code is fixed and has no configurable settings.

Risk to user funds: The hook cannot touch trader or LP funds and charges 0% extra fees. LP withdrawals are unrestricted.

Security findings

  • [info] Passive, immutable hook: The hook only updates an entropy value and counter after swaps; it has no owner, takes no fees, and cannot touch tokens.
  • [info] Randomness is not fully unpredictable: The entropy uses on-chain values such as block randomness and timestamp, which block builders can partially influence; this affects NFT trait fairness, not pool funds.
