What it does
Every swap pays a fixed extra hook fee (exact rate unverified) that is collected as ETH for a hard-coded recipient, while LPs can add and withdraw freely with no admin controls.
How it works step by step
- Takes a fixed fee (constant FEE_BPS, value not readable from the decoded data) from swaps on pools tied to a specific token.
- Credits the collected fee, apparently in ETH, to itself as Uniswap v4 claim tokens held in the PoolManager.
- Anyone can call collect(), which redeems the accrued claims and sends the ETH to a fixed fee recipient address.
- Has no owner or setter functions; the token, fee rate and recipient appear to be hard-coded.
- Does not touch liquidity adds or withdrawals.
- Swap behaviour
- On each swap the hook runs before and after the trade and can shift swap amounts via return deltas to skim a fixed fee, which it mints as claim tokens for later collection. The exact fee percentage is a constant whose value could not be read from bytecode.
- Liquidity behaviour
- No liquidity callbacks; LPs can add and withdraw freely.
- Fee behaviour
- A fixed hook fee set by a hard-coded constant (exact percentage unknown from bytecode) is taken from swaps on top of the pool fee and accrues as ETH claims, which collect() pays to an immutable fee recipient.
- Owner & admin controls
- No admin controls found; fee rate, token and recipient appear to be constants and collect() is permissionless with a simple reentrancy lock.
Enabled Uniswap v4 callbacks
beforeSwap, afterSwap, beforeSwapReturnDelta, afterSwapReturnDelta
beforeSwap: computes and may take the fee on exact-input side; afterSwap: takes the fee from the output side; beforeSwapReturnDelta / afterSwapReturnDelta: let the hook deduct the fee from swap amounts.
Security & trust assessment
Risk level: medium, estimated (decoded bytecode, medium confidence).
Who controls it: No privileged keys were found; the fee recipient is fixed and only receives accrued swap fees.
Risk to user funds: The hook can only take its fixed fee from swap amounts (exact rate unverified); LP principal cannot be locked or drained.
Security findings
- [low] Fee rate not verifiable: The hook deducts a fixed fee via swap return deltas, but the constant's value is not visible in decoded data, so the exact percentage is unconfirmed.
- [info] Immutable, no owner: No setter or owner functions were found; fees can only go to the hard-coded recipient.
- [info] LP withdrawals unrestricted: Remove-liquidity callbacks are disabled, so the hook can never block or charge LP withdrawals.
