What it does

Launchpad hook for Coinbarrel tokens that takes a configurable per-direction fee on swaps, splitting it between the platform, the creator's revenue and reinvestment buckets, holder rewards and buyback burns.

How it works step by step

  • Charges a flat 1 percent platform fee plus creator-defined buckets on buys and sells, with total fee up to 11 percent per direction.
  • Routes fee claims into PoolManager claim balances that settle to fee sink, reinvestment executor, reward escrow and burn executor.
  • Gates the one-time initial liquidity position to a designated sender at a fixed tick range and salt.
  • Allows an owner-set LP swap fee up to 2 percent per pool, with a platform default applied at registration.
  • Supports fee exemptions for approved lockers, globally or per pool, with suspension for specific pools.
  • Maintains an observation oracle of tick and organic native volume for executors to price buybacks.
Swap behaviour
On each swap beforeSwap and afterSwap delegate to the swap logic module, compute the platform fee and creator project buckets from the registered policy, record pending settlement, and take the fee as a return delta in the quote asset.
Liquidity behaviour
Only the designated initial liquidity sender can add the one-time initial position at the registered tick range and salt; afterwards only positive liquidity additions are allowed. Removals are unrestricted at hook level. afterAddLiquidity and afterRemoveLiquidity return zero deltas.
Fee behaviour
Platform takes a flat 1 percent of volume per direction (PLATFORM_FEE_PIPS 10,000) plus creator-set project buckets (revenue, reinvestment, rewards, burn) totalling up to 11 percent per direction; the fee is taken as hook return deltas in the quote asset. An optional owner-set Uniswap LP swap fee of up to 2 percent is layered on top per pool, and a platform default is applied at registration. Exempt lockers pay no hook fee but still pay the LP fee.
Owner & admin controls
Owner (Ownable2Step, renounce disabled) can set the default and per-pool LP swap fee up to 2 percent (MAX_POOL_LP_FEE_PIPS 20,000), register and arm pools via the launcher, and transfer ownership. The exemption admin can grant or suspend hook-fee waivers per locker and per pool. The owner can point the proxy at a new implementation through the UUPS path subject to the terminal proxyUUID guard, and the proxy is described as terminalized against further code replacement; the swap and fee logic modules are codehash-pinned. Impairment controller can flag assets as impaired and block swaps.

Enabled Uniswap v4 callbacks

beforeInitialize, afterInitialize, beforeAddLiquidity, afterAddLiquidity, beforeRemoveLiquidity, afterRemoveLiquidity, beforeSwap, afterSwap, beforeDonate, afterDonate, beforeSwapReturnDelta, afterSwapReturnDelta, afterAddLiquidityReturnDelta, afterRemoveLiquidityReturnDelta

beforeInitialize registers the pool observation and marks it initialized; beforeAddLiquidity gates the initial liquidity; beforeSwap and afterSwap run fee and return-delta accounting via delegatecall to the swap logic module; afterSwapReturnDelta and afterAddLiquidityReturnDelta and afterRemoveLiquidityReturnDelta return hook-taken deltas; the remaining callbacks are no-ops that return their selectors.

Security & trust assessment

Risk level: medium (verified source, high confidence).

Who controls it: The owner can raise the LP fee on any registered pool up to 2 percent, change the default for future launches, manage registrations and the impairment controller, and upgrade the implementation (subject to terminal guard). The exemption admin can waive fees for any locker. A malicious key could change economics for holders of existing pools within the stated bounds.

Risk to user funds: The hook takes fee shares from every swap as return deltas and holds the resulting PoolManager claims until settlement to the fee sink, reinvestment and reward escrows, and burn executor. Swaps can be halted by impairment, and an owner can raise LP fees on pools, so user principal in pools is exposed to configuration risk rather than direct seizure.

Security findings

  • [medium] Owner-adjustable LP swap fee: Uniswap LP fee can be raised per pool up to 2 percent by the owner; the router snapshot policy hash diverges from live policyHash after such a change.
  • [medium] Swap halt via impairment controller: Impairment controller can set asset impairment, causing beforeSwap to revert and blocking trading in a pool.
  • [medium] Upgradeable proxy with owner control: Proxy and ownership are controlled by a single owner key with the exemption admin role separate; upgrade authority exists for the implementation path.
  • [info] Hook holds claims and takes return deltas: Hook takes tokens via return deltas and holds PoolManager claims for buckets, which settle to fee sink, executors and reward escrow.
