What it does
Traders buy and sell each coin through its own pool at a 2% fee, with buys paying the fee in ETH and sells paying it in the coin, and the fees are split between the creator, a $CAMO buy-and-burn and the treasury.
How it works step by step
- Deploys a CamoToken per launch whose name, ticker and image are owned by whoever last burns tokens for a reskin
- Seeds each coin's Uniswap v4 pool with the whole 1B supply as two single-sided positions (800M bonding curve up to a graduation price, 200M tail above it) held by the hook
- Routes buys and sells through the pool with a 2% LP fee, with ETH buy fees and coin sell fees collected via fee realisation
- Splits collected fees: 50% to the coin creator (pull-based claim), 25% to a $CAMO buy-and-burn buyback (sent to 0x...dEaD), 25% to the treasury (pull-based claim)
- Restricts pool creation to this contract only via beforeInitialize, so no pool using the hook can be opened by others
- Lets the owner name $CAMO once, moderate coin skins, change reskin price, cooldown and image base, and change the treasury
- Swap behaviour
- Swaps go through the coin's pool with a 2% LP fee; buys pay the fee in ETH and sells pay it in the coin, which is later converted to ETH on fee collection. Trades are otherwise the standard bonding-curve price path, so buys and sells pay the same 2% headline fee.
- Liquidity behaviour
- No liquidity callbacks. Liquidity is added once at launch by the contract itself in the Seed unlock action; there are no external add or remove liquidity hooks, and the positions are never removed.
- Fee behaviour
- The pool's 2% LP fee is accrued to the two positions and realised by collectFees (permissionless). Realised ETH is split 50% creator, 25% buyback (capped at 0.01 ETH per buyback and rate-limited to one per 60 seconds), 25% treasury; coin fees from sells are sold for ETH during collection.
- Owner & admin controls
- Owner (Ownable2Step) can: set $CAMO once via setCamo, change treasury address, change launch settings (image base, reskin price, cooldown) for future coins, and per coin moderate name/symbol/image, change reskin price (max 0.02 ETH), cooldown (max 1 day) and image base. Renounce and two-step transfer are available. No pause, no upgradeability and no fund-withdrawal function was observed in the decoded ABI.
Enabled Uniswap v4 callbacks
beforeInitialize
beforeInitialize: enabled, used only to require the pool manager as caller and this contract as sender, so only the launchpad can open pools with this hook. No other hook callbacks are enabled in the address flags.
Security & trust assessment
Risk level: medium (verified source, high confidence).
Who controls it: The owner can rename or reskin any coin, change the treasury recipient, and tune per-coin reskin parameters, but cannot withdraw user ETH or coin balances directly. Pool trading itself is not pausable.
Risk to user funds: Trader funds pass through the pool manager and the hook's unlock callback; the hook cannot block swaps or freeze liquidity. Creator and treasury ETH is held in ethOwed until claimed, so the hook does hold unclaimed ETH balances. Owner rights do not directly move trader funds.
Security findings
- [medium] Owner can rewrite any coin's name, ticker and image: moderate() on the launchpad lets the owner replace any coin's skin at no cost, and setCoinImageBase / setCoinReskinPrice / setCoinCooldown adjust reskin mechanics per coin, so the owner can impersonate or alter tokens after trading starts.
- [medium] Owner can redirect treasury fees: setTreasury can point the treasury share, 25% of fees on every trade, to any address, and this is applied on every future collectFees.
- [low] Buyback depends on owner-chosen $CAMO: setCamo fixes the buyback target once; if the chosen coin is thin or manipulated, buybacks spend ETH into it, though each buyback is capped at 0.01 ETH and rate-limited.
- [info] Fee collection and quote are permissionless and nonReentrant: collectFees and claim are open to anyone; ETH only goes to recorded creators or the treasury, and sends use low-level calls that revert on failure without blocking the pool.
- [info] Hook holds the full coin supply in its pools: The hook contract owns the liquidity positions and receives the dust from launch; user funds sit in the pool manager and the hook only moves them through its own unlock flow.
