What it does
Launchpad hook that charges a USDC fee of up to 6% on every buy and sell paid to each launch's splitter, with early buyers paying a steep decaying sniper tax up to 99% while the creator's dev buy and the launch bot pay less or nothing.
How it works step by step
- Charges each launched token's trading fee itself, in the quote asset (currency0, the chain's native USDC), on every buy and sell; the pool's own LP fee is forced to zero.
- Base fee per pool is fixed at launch (launchpad share 0.1% to 3% plus creator tax), with a hard cap of 6% total.
- Adds an opening sniper tax on buys that starts high (default 99%) and decays to the base fee within seconds (owner can set up to 1 hour, max 99%).
- Collected fees accrue per pool and anyone can trigger sending them to that launch's fixed fee splitter.
- Only the factory can open pools, only the launch locker or owner-approved addresses can add liquidity, and swaps cannot push the price above the launch's range.
- Swap behaviour
- Every swap pays the pool's fee in USDC, taken from what buyers spend or what sellers receive: the base fee of up to 6%, or on buys during the opening window a higher decaying fee that starts at up to 99%. The creator's dev buy in the launch block pays nothing, and the launch's bot pays nothing (or only the creator tax) after the opening; swaps that leave the price above the launch range, move nothing, or only partially fill after a pre-swap fee revert.
- Liquidity behaviour
- Only the launch locker or owner-approved addresses can add liquidity. Remove-liquidity callbacks are disabled, so the hook cannot block or charge withdrawals.
- Fee behaviour
- Base fee is the launchpad share (0.1% to 3%) plus creator tax, capped at 6% total and fixed per pool at creation; buys in the opening window pay a fee decaying from the start fee (default 99%, max 99%) to the base over default 10 seconds (max 1 hour). Fees are held as USDC claims and redeemable by anyone to the launch's fixed splitter.
- Owner & admin controls
- The owner can set the opening tax for future pools (start fee up to 99%, duration up to 1 hour, curve power 1 to 4), set launch terms for future pools (launchpad 0.1% to 3%, creator up to 10%, total capped at 6%), approve liquidity adders, and toggle whether the launch bot pays the creator tax. Existing pools keep their fee terms; ownership cannot be renounced.
Enabled Uniswap v4 callbacks
beforeInitialize, beforeAddLiquidity, beforeSwap, afterSwap, beforeSwapReturnDelta, afterSwapReturnDelta
beforeInitialize: only the factory can open a registered pool and records the top price edge; beforeAddLiquidity: restricts adding liquidity to the locker and approved adders; beforeSwap: takes the fee when USDC is the specified amount; afterSwap: takes the fee on the other swap shapes, enforces the price edge and full fills; beforeSwapReturnDelta/afterSwapReturnDelta: let the hook deduct its USDC fee from the swap.
Security & trust assessment
Risk level: medium (verified source, high confidence).
Who controls it: A single owner (two-step transfer, cannot renounce) sets opening tax and launch terms for new pools within hard caps and decides who may add liquidity. They cannot change fees on existing pools or redirect collected fees.
Risk to user funds: The hook takes only its USDC fee from swaps: 0% to 6% normally, up to 99% on buys during a short opening window. It cannot touch LP withdrawals, and collected fees can only go to each launch's fixed splitter.
Security findings
- [medium] Very high opening sniper tax: Buys right after launch can pay up to 99% of what they spend, decaying to the base fee over the configured window (default 10 seconds, max 1 hour). This is set by the owner for future pools and locked per pool at creation.
- [info] Base fee hard-capped at 6%: After the opening, the total fee on any pool cannot exceed 6% and is fixed when the pool is created.
- [info] Liquidity adding is gated: Only the launch locker and owner-approved addresses can add liquidity; withdrawals are never touched by the hook.
- [info] Fee exemptions: The creator's launch-block buy and the launch bot after the opening are exempt from some or all fees.
