What it does
A launchpad token hook that takes a fixed buy/sell tax from swap output, with extra decaying anti-snipe tax so early traders pay more, sending proceeds to a treasury and splitter while LPs withdraw freely.
How it works step by step
- Binds itself to one launchpad token pool at initialization; only the launchpad 'portal' can create the pool, and the pool shape (fee, tick spacing, quote asset) is checked.
- Charges a tax on swaps in afterSwap, with separate buy and sell tax rates plus a time-decaying anti-snipe tax that starts at launch.
- Takes the tax from the swap output and sends it to a fee splitter and treasury.
- Has no liquidity callbacks, so LPs can add and withdraw freely.
- Swap behaviour
- After each swap the hook takes a tax from the swap output (buy tax, sell tax, and an extra anti-snipe tax that decays after launch), capped by a hard-coded maximum tax constant whose exact value cannot be read from the bytecode. Swaps on any other pool are rejected.
- Liquidity behaviour
- No liquidity callbacks; LPs can add and withdraw freely.
- Fee behaviour
- A buy/sell tax plus a decaying launch snipe tax is deducted from swap output and routed to a splitter/treasury; rates are fixed constants and bounded by a maximum tax constant, but exact percentages are not visible in the bytecode.
- Owner & admin controls
- No admin setters found; tax rates, treasury, splitter and portal appear to be fixed constants, and the only state set is the one-time pool binding and launch time.
Enabled Uniswap v4 callbacks
beforeInitialize, afterSwap, afterSwapReturnDelta
beforeInitialize: lets only the portal bind the hook to one correctly shaped pool; afterSwap: computes the buy/sell/snipe tax; afterSwapReturnDelta: deducts that tax from the swap output.
Security & trust assessment
Risk level: medium, estimated (decoded bytecode, medium confidence).
Who controls it: No owner functions were found; the launchpad portal can only perform the one-time pool binding. Tax recipients (treasury and splitter) are fixed.
Risk to user funds: The hook can take a tax from traders' swap output, with exact maximum unknown from bytecode and a higher anti-snipe tax right after launch. LP principal cannot be locked or drained by the hook.
Security findings
- [medium] Swap tax via return delta: The hook deducts buy, sell and anti-snipe taxes from swap output; the cap (MAX_TAX_BPS) and starting snipe tax cannot be confirmed from unverified bytecode, so early buyers may pay a high tax.
- [info] No mutable admin controls: Tax rates and recipients appear to be immutable constants, and the contract is not an upgradeable proxy.
- [info] LP withdrawals unrestricted: Remove-liquidity callbacks are disabled, so the hook cannot block or charge LP withdrawals.
