What it does
A launchpad hook that charges every trade on registered launch pools a swap tax split between a treasury and the token creator, with a capped but unverified creator rate, while leaving LP withdrawals unrestricted.
How it works step by step
- Attaches to token-launch pools registered by a launchpad registrar contract, recording launch details per pool.
- Takes a swap tax from trades and sends it to a treasury and/or the token creator using the pool manager's take function.
- Lets a custodian adjust a per-launch creator tax, with an on-chain check that rejects rates above a maximum (exact cap not visible in bytecode).
- Checks pools at initialization and liquidity additions so only authorized launch pools and liquidity paths are used.
- Tracks the total amount of fees taken.
- Swap behaviour
- On each swap the hook checks the pool's launch record and, after the swap, deducts a tax from swap amounts via a return delta and pulls it out to recipients. The exact percentage depends on per-launch settings and cannot be fully confirmed from bytecode.
- Liquidity behaviour
- Adding liquidity is checked by the hook and may be restricted to authorized launch pools or callers. Remove-liquidity callbacks are disabled, so LPs can always withdraw.
- Fee behaviour
- A total fee in basis points per launch (protocol share plus a creator tax) is taken from swaps and sent to the treasury and creator; the creator tax has an enforced maximum, but its exact value is not readable from bytecode.
- Owner & admin controls
- A registrar address registers launches with fee settings, and a custodian address can update a launch's creator tax, capped by an on-chain maximum check whose exact value is unknown. A stored address (likely the custodian) can be changed by its current holder.
Enabled Uniswap v4 callbacks
beforeInitialize, beforeAddLiquidity, beforeSwap, afterSwap, afterSwapReturnDelta
beforeInitialize: validates new pools against launch records; beforeAddLiquidity: gates liquidity additions; beforeSwap: reads launch/tax settings; afterSwap: computes and collects the tax; afterSwapReturnDelta: lets the hook deduct the tax from swap amounts.
Security & trust assessment
Risk level: medium, estimated (decoded bytecode, medium confidence).
Who controls it: A registrar and a custodian hold privileged roles to register launches and set creator tax, limited by an on-chain maximum. They cannot block LP withdrawals.
Risk to user funds: The hook can take a tax from swap amounts, sending it to the treasury and creator, with the maximum rate unverified. LP principal cannot be locked or drained since remove-liquidity callbacks are disabled.
Security findings
- [low] Adjustable creator tax on swaps: A custodian can change a launch's creator tax; a CreatorTaxTooHigh check enforces an upper bound, but the exact cap cannot be verified from bytecode.
- [info] Liquidity additions gated: beforeAddLiquidity can restrict who adds liquidity, but withdrawals are never touched by the hook.
- [info] Unverified source: Analysis is based on decoded bytecode, so fee splits and recipients are inferred.
