What it does
A launchpad tax hook that charges every swap a capped creator and platform fee, with a higher decaying opening fee for early or bot trades, paid to each pool's fee splitter, while LPs can always withdraw freely.
How it works step by step
- Charges a swap tax on registered launchpad pools, made up of a creator fee and a platform fee, taken from swap amounts via return deltas.
- Can apply a higher 'opening' fee right after launch that decays over a set duration, likely to discourage sniping bots.
- Records owed fees per pool as Uniswap v4 claim tokens and lets a per-pool fee splitter redeem them later.
- Only approved liquidity adder addresses can add liquidity (beforeAddLiquidity gate). Withdrawals are never touched.
- Pools must be registered with terms before initialization.
- Swap behaviour
- Each swap on a registered pool pays a fee computed from the pool's creator fee, platform fee and any active opening (anti-snipe) fee, deducted from the swap via return deltas. Some fee-exempt callers may skip it, and the owner can choose whether bots pay the creator tax.
- Liquidity behaviour
- Adding liquidity is restricted to addresses the owner approves as liquidity adders. Remove-liquidity callbacks are disabled, so LPs can always withdraw freely.
- Fee behaviour
- Swap fees combine a creator fee and a platform fee, each bounded by hard-coded maximum constants, plus a temporary opening fee that is higher at launch and decays over a capped duration. The exact percentage caps are not readable from bytecode. Fees accrue as claims for each pool's splitter (creator/platform) to redeem.
- Owner & admin controls
- The owner can set launch terms and opening-fee parameters, toggle whether bots pay the creator tax, and approve or revoke liquidity adders. Fee values appear bounded by hard-coded MAX constants, but the exact caps cannot be confirmed from bytecode.
Enabled Uniswap v4 callbacks
beforeInitialize, beforeAddLiquidity, beforeSwap, afterSwap, beforeSwapReturnDelta, afterSwapReturnDelta
beforeInitialize: checks the pool is registered and stores its fee terms; beforeAddLiquidity: only allows approved liquidity adders; beforeSwap: computes the current fee and takes it from input; afterSwap: takes fee from output where applicable; beforeSwapReturnDelta/afterSwapReturnDelta: let the hook deduct the fee from swap amounts.
Security & trust assessment
Risk level: medium, estimated (decoded bytecode, medium confidence).
Who controls it: A single owner (two-step Ownable) sets launch and opening fee terms, bot tax policy, and approved liquidity adders. They cannot block LP withdrawals.
Risk to user funds: The hook takes a fee slice from swaps, up to hard-coded caps whose exact values are unknown from bytecode. LP principal cannot be locked or drained by the hook.
Security findings
- [medium] Unverified swap tax with return deltas: The hook deducts fees from swaps using return deltas. Max fee constants exist, but their values are not verifiable from bytecode.
- [low] Liquidity adding is gated: Only owner-approved addresses can add liquidity to these pools.
- [info] LP withdrawals unrestricted: Remove-liquidity callbacks are disabled, so the hook cannot block or tax withdrawals.
