What it does
This hook charges every swap a fixed, unchangeable fee of unknown size, deducted after the trade and partly paid to a founder address, while LPs appear able to add and withdraw liquidity freely.
This read was written for the hook 0x72fd…8a44 on Arc and reused here: the two share a code shape, so constants such as fees, owners and addresses can differ.
How it works step by step
- Takes a fee from swap output after each swap using the afterSwap return delta.
- Has a fixed fee rate (FEE_PPM) and a founder share (KURUCU_PPM); 'kurucu' is Turkish for founder.
- Pulls the fee from the PoolManager and transfers part of it to a founder address, with the rest likely going to another recipient.
- Has no storage variables, so the fee rates and recipients appear fixed when the contract is deployed.
- Add- and remove-liquidity checks run but appear to be simple view pass-throughs.
- Swap behaviour
- After each swap, the hook deducts a fixed-rate fee from the swap amount and sends it out to fixed recipients, including a founder address. The exact fee percentage is set by a constant that cannot be read from bytecode alone.
- Liquidity behaviour
- The before-add and before-remove liquidity callbacks are view-only and show no gating logic, so LPs should be able to add and withdraw freely. This cannot be fully confirmed without verified source.
- Fee behaviour
- A fixed fee, measured in parts per million, is taken on swaps and partly routed to a founder address by a fixed founder share. The exact rates are unknown from bytecode, but they are constants and cannot be changed.
- Owner & admin controls
- No admin controls found. There is no storage, and the fees and recipients appear to be immutable constants.
Enabled Uniswap v4 callbacks
beforeAddLiquidity, beforeRemoveLiquidity, afterSwap, afterSwapReturnDelta
beforeAddLiquidity: view check on deposits, with no visible restriction; beforeRemoveLiquidity: view check on withdrawals, with no visible restriction; afterSwap: computes and collects the swap fee; afterSwapReturnDelta: deducts the fee from the swap amount.
Security & trust assessment
Risk level: medium, estimated (decoded bytecode, medium confidence).
Who controls it: No owner or admin keys were found. The founder recipient and fee rates appear hard-coded at deployment.
Risk to user funds: The hook can take a fixed percentage of each swap; the exact rate is unknown from bytecode, and it can never be changed. No mechanism to lock or drain LP principal is visible.
Security findings
- [medium] Unverified swap fee deduction: The hook uses an after-swap return delta to take tokens from swaps at a fixed rate. That rate cannot be confirmed from bytecode, but it is immutable.
- [info] Withdrawal callback present but view-only: beforeRemoveLiquidity is enabled but marked view, with no state or admin, so it is unlikely to block withdrawals.
