What it does
Every swap pays a fixed, hard-coded hook fee of unknown size on top of the pool fee, collected by the hook, while LPs can add and withdraw liquidity freely.
How it works step by step
- Charges a fixed hook fee on swaps, defined by a constant called HOOK_FEE_BPS (exact value not visible from the decoded data).
- Collects the fee during the swap and pulls it out of the PoolManager to a recipient using take().
- Has no storage variables, so there is no owner and no adjustable settings.
- Does not touch liquidity adds or withdrawals; LPs can add and remove freely.
- Swap behaviour
- On each swap the hook can deduct a fixed-percentage fee from the swap amounts through return deltas and transfers it out of the PoolManager. The exact percentage and recipient cannot be read from the decoded bytecode.
- Liquidity behaviour
- No liquidity callbacks; LPs can add and withdraw freely.
- Fee behaviour
- A constant hook fee (HOOK_FEE_BPS over FEE_DENOMINATOR) is charged on swaps in addition to the pool's LP fee. The rate is hard-coded and cannot change, but its exact value and recipient are unknown from the bytecode alone.
- Owner & admin controls
- No admin controls found; the contract has no storage and the fee is a constant.
Enabled Uniswap v4 callbacks
beforeSwap, afterSwap, beforeSwapReturnDelta, afterSwapReturnDelta
beforeSwap: computes and may take the fee on the input side; afterSwap: computes and may take the fee on the output side; beforeSwapReturnDelta: lets the hook adjust swap input amounts to collect the fee; afterSwapReturnDelta: lets the hook adjust swap output amounts to collect the fee.
Security & trust assessment
Risk level: medium, estimated (decoded bytecode, medium confidence).
Who controls it: No privileged keys were found; the fee logic appears immutable. The fee recipient is likely hard-coded and cannot be changed.
Risk to user funds: The hook can deduct its fixed fee from traders' swap amounts; the exact percentage is unknown from bytecode. LP principal cannot be locked or drained by this hook.
Security findings
- [low] Unverified fixed swap fee: The hook takes a constant fee from swaps via return deltas, but since the source is not verified the exact rate and recipient cannot be confirmed.
- [info] No admin or mutable state: There is no storage layout and no setter functions, so no one can change the fee or pause trading.
- [info] LP withdrawals unrestricted: Remove-liquidity callbacks are disabled, so the hook cannot block or charge LP withdrawals.
