What it does

Every swap in pools using this hook pays a fixed, hard-coded extra fee to a fixed recipient, while LPs can add and withdraw liquidity freely and no admin can change the settings.

How it works step by step

  • Charges an extra hook fee on swaps in pools that use it, on top of the pool's normal LP fee.
  • Sends the collected fee directly to a fixed fee recipient address using the PoolManager's take function.
  • The fee rate and recipient appear to be hard-coded constants (HOOK_FEE_BPS, FEE_DENOMINATOR, FEE_RECIPIENT), and there is no admin storage.
  • Does not touch liquidity adds or removals, so LPs can deposit and withdraw freely.
Swap behaviour
On each swap the hook can take a cut of the swap amount, adjusting the trade through return deltas and sending that cut to the fixed fee recipient. The exact percentage is a built-in constant that could not be read from the bytecode summary.
Liquidity behaviour
No liquidity callbacks run, so LPs can add and withdraw liquidity freely.
Fee behaviour
A fixed hook fee, set by a hard-coded basis-point constant, is charged on swaps and sent to a hard-coded fee recipient address. The pool's normal LP fee still applies separately, and the exact hook fee percentage is not known from the available data.
Owner & admin controls
No admin controls found. Storage is empty, and the fee rate and recipient appear to be immutable constants.

Enabled Uniswap v4 callbacks

beforeSwap, afterSwap, beforeSwapReturnDelta, afterSwapReturnDelta

beforeSwap: can take the fee from the swap input side; afterSwap: can take the fee from the swap output side; beforeSwapReturnDelta and afterSwapReturnDelta: let the hook change swap amounts to collect its fee.

Security & trust assessment

Risk level: medium, estimated (decoded bytecode, medium confidence).

Who controls it: No privileged keys appear to exist. The only beneficiary is a hard-coded fee recipient that receives swap fees.

Risk to user funds: The hook can take only its fixed fee from each swap, and the exact rate is unknown from the bytecode. It cannot touch LP principal, and LP withdrawals are unrestricted.

Security findings

  • [low] Unverified fixed swap fee: The hook takes a swap fee through return deltas and sends it to a fixed recipient. The rate is a constant whose value cannot be confirmed without source code.
  • [info] No admin or upgrade path: The hook is not a proxy and has no storage or owner functions, so its fee settings cannot be changed after deployment.
  • [info] LP withdrawals unrestricted: The remove-liquidity callbacks are disabled, so the hook can never block or charge LP withdrawals.
