What it does

A simple immutable guard that lets only the zipped.fun factory create pools, while all trades pay just the pool's normal static fee and LPs can add and withdraw freely.

This read was written for the hook 0x8d37…2000 on Robinhood Chain and reused here: the two share a code shape, so constants such as fees, owners and addresses can differ.

How it works step by step

  • Lets only the zipped.fun factory create (initialize) pools that use this hook.
  • Stops anyone from front-running a coin's launch by creating its pool early at a bad price.
  • Has no swap, liquidity, or donate callbacks, so trading and LPing work like a normal Uniswap v4 pool.
  • Pools use a static fee set at creation; the hook takes no fees.
Swap behaviour
No swap callbacks.
Liquidity behaviour
No liquidity callbacks; LPs can add and withdraw freely.
Fee behaviour
Uses the pool's static fee.
Owner & admin controls
No admin controls found. The factory address is immutable and only matters at pool creation.

Enabled Uniswap v4 callbacks

beforeInitialize

beforeInitialize: reverts pool creation unless the call comes through the PoolManager and the pool creator is the fixed factory address.

Security & trust assessment

Risk level: low, estimated (decoded bytecode, high confidence).

Who controls it: Only the fixed factory address can create pools with this hook. Nobody can change swaps, fees, or withdrawals after a pool exists.

Risk to user funds: The hook cannot touch any trader or LP funds and charges no fees. LP principal cannot be locked or drained by it.

Security findings

  • [info] Immutable initialization guard: The contract is not a proxy, has no owner, and only checks who initializes a pool; it cannot touch swaps, fees, or liquidity.
  • [info] Unrestricted LP withdrawals: Remove-liquidity callbacks are disabled in the hook address, so LPs can always withdraw.
