What it does

A launchpad tax hook that charges a bounded tax on swaps of registered tokens and splits it among the creator, the platform treasury and a buyer prize pot, while leaving LP withdrawals unrestricted.

This read was written for the hook 0xd925…a0cc on Robinhood Chain and reused here: the two share a code shape, so constants such as fees, owners and addresses can differ.

How it works step by step

  • Charges a tax on swaps of registered launchpad tokens, with a minimum and maximum tax rate set in the code (exact values not readable from bytecode).
  • Splits collected tax between the token creator, a platform treasury, and a prize pot, each tracked per token for later claiming.
  • Appears to run a lottery-style round where qualifying buyers (above a minimum buy size) can win from the pot and claim their winnings.
  • Only lets pools be initialized for tokens registered through the factory.
Swap behaviour
On each swap of a registered token the hook can take a tax from the swap amounts using return deltas, then records shares owed to the creator, treasury and pot; large enough buys may enter a prize round.
Liquidity behaviour
No liquidity callbacks; LPs can add and withdraw freely.
Fee behaviour
A per-token tax is charged on swaps, bounded by hard-coded minimum and maximum tax constants plus a fixed platform share; exact percentages cannot be confirmed from bytecode. Tax goes to the creator, platform treasury and a prize pot.
Owner & admin controls
The owner can set the factory and router addresses; the factory appears to register tokens with tax settings, and setMinBuy and setCreator adjust buy thresholds and creator recipients. Tax rates appear bounded by hard-coded MIN and MAX constants.

Enabled Uniswap v4 callbacks

beforeInitialize, beforeSwap, afterSwap, beforeSwapReturnDelta, afterSwapReturnDelta

beforeInitialize restricts pools to registered tokens; beforeSwap and afterSwap calculate tax and track round state; beforeSwapReturnDelta and afterSwapReturnDelta let the hook take the tax out of swap amounts.

Security & trust assessment

Risk level: medium, estimated (decoded bytecode, medium confidence).

Who controls it: An owner controls the factory and router addresses, and the factory or owner can register tokens, set creators and minimum buys. They cannot block LP withdrawals.

Risk to user funds: Traders pay a per-token swap tax within hard-coded min/max bounds that cannot be verified from bytecode; collected tax is held for creators, treasury and prize winners. LP principal cannot be locked or drained by the hook.

Security findings

  • [medium] Swap tax via return deltas: The hook takes a tax from swaps through return deltas; the maximum is a hard-coded constant whose value could not be confirmed from unverified bytecode.
  • [low] Owner can change factory and router: Changing the factory affects who can register tokens and set tax parameters for new tokens.
  • [info] LP withdrawals unrestricted: Remove-liquidity callbacks are disabled, so LPs can always withdraw.
