What it does

An allowlist hook that lets only owner-approved addresses add liquidity, while swaps pay the normal pool fee and all LPs can withdraw freely.

This read was written for the hook 0x6a15…8800 on BNB Chain and reused here: the two share a code shape, so constants such as fees, owners and addresses can differ.

How it works step by step

  • Restricts who can add liquidity to pools using this hook to an owner-managed allowlist of providers.
  • The owner can add or remove single addresses or batches of addresses from the allowlist.
  • Does not touch swaps at all; trading uses the pool's normal fee.
  • Never runs on withdrawals, so existing LPs can always remove their liquidity.
Swap behaviour
No swap callbacks.
Liquidity behaviour
When liquidity is added, the hook checks an allowlist and likely rejects deposits from callers (probably the position manager or router address passed as sender) that are not approved. Removing liquidity is never intercepted, so LPs can withdraw freely.
Fee behaviour
Uses the pool's static fee.
Owner & admin controls
The owner can approve or revoke liquidity providers individually or in batches, and can transfer ownership. No fee or withdrawal controls exist.

Enabled Uniswap v4 callbacks

beforeAddLiquidity

beforeAddLiquidity: checks the adding address against the allowed-provider list and blocks unapproved deposits.

Security & trust assessment

Risk level: low, estimated (decoded bytecode, medium confidence).

Who controls it: A single owner controls the provider allowlist. The worst they can do is stop new liquidity deposits; they cannot touch swaps, fees, or existing LP funds.

Risk to user funds: The hook holds and moves no funds and takes no fees (0%). LP principal cannot be locked or drained by this hook.

Security findings

  • [info] Gated liquidity deposits: Only owner-approved addresses can add liquidity; the owner can revoke approval at any time, which stops new deposits but cannot affect existing positions.
  • [info] Withdrawals unrestricted: Remove-liquidity callbacks are disabled, so the hook cannot block or charge LP withdrawals.
