What it does

Nanite launch hook that charges every buy and sell a fee starting at 99% and falling 1% per minute to a permanent 10%, using it to buy and burn Nanite and pay reward, team and treasury addresses, while LPs can always withdraw.

This read was written for the hook 0x6b26…a4cc on Base and reused here: the two share a code shape, so constants such as fees, owners and addresses can differ.

How it works step by step

  • Only allows a native ETH / Nanite token pool to be created with this hook.
  • Charges an anti-snipe fee on every trade that starts at 99% and drops 1 percentage point per minute until it settles at 10% about 89 minutes after the first trade.
  • Splits each ETH fee: 50% buys Nanite and burns it (or partly sends it to a claims contract), 20% to a reward address, 20% to the team, 10% to the treasury.
  • Only the Nanite token contract, or anyone while the team has switched on a loading flag, can add liquidity.
  • Only exact-input swaps are allowed; exact-output swaps revert.
Swap behaviour
On buys the hook takes the fee from the ETH you send in, and on sells it takes the fee from the ETH you receive, at the current rate (99% at launch, falling 1% per minute to a permanent 10%). Exact-output swaps are rejected.
Liquidity behaviour
Adding liquidity reverts unless the sender is the Nanite token contract or the team has enabled the loading flag. Remove-liquidity callbacks are disabled, so existing LPs can always withdraw freely.
Fee behaviour
Hook fee is 99% at the first trade, decreasing 1 percentage point per minute to a fixed 10% of the ETH side of every buy and sell. Of the fee, 50% buys and burns Nanite (after the launch window, half of that goes to a claims contract until 100M tokens are sent), 20% goes to the reward address, 20% to the team and 10% to the treasury.
Owner & admin controls
The team address can change the reward, team, treasury and claims addresses and toggle the liquidity-loading flag. It cannot change the fee schedule, which is hard-coded.

Enabled Uniswap v4 callbacks

beforeInitialize, afterAddLiquidity, beforeSwap, afterSwap, beforeSwapReturnDelta, afterSwapReturnDelta

beforeInitialize: restricts pools to ETH/Nanite; afterAddLiquidity: gates who can add liquidity and updates the token's transfer allowance; beforeSwap: blocks exact-output swaps and takes the ETH fee on buys; afterSwap: takes the ETH fee on sells and distributes fees; beforeSwapReturnDelta/afterSwapReturnDelta: let the hook deduct the fee from swap input or output.

Security & trust assessment

Risk level: high (verified source, high confidence).

Who controls it: The team address can redirect fee recipients and control when liquidity may be added. It cannot change fee rates, pause swaps, or block withdrawals.

Risk to user funds: The hook takes 99% down to 10% of the ETH side of each swap depending on time since launch, settling at 10%. LP principal is never touched and withdrawals are unrestricted.

Security findings

  • [high] Confiscatory launch fee: Fee starts at 99% of trade value at the first swap and only falls to 10% after about 89 minutes, so early traders lose nearly all their trade to fees.
  • [info] Permanent 10% fee: After the decay window the fee is fixed at 10% on both buys and sells and cannot be changed by anyone.
  • [low] Gated liquidity additions: Only the Nanite contract or the team (via the loading flag) can enable new liquidity; withdrawals are never blocked.
  • [info] Team controls recipients: Team can redirect the reward, team, treasury and claims shares to any address, but cannot touch LP principal.
