What it does

A singleton hook for graduated launchpad pools that charges each swap a small fee plus the creator tax, converts it into STITION, and splits it between the creator's reward lock and the protocol treasury.

How it works step by step

  • Charges every swap a hook fee (default 1%) plus the pool's creator tax as an afterSwap return delta
  • Converts the collected fee into STITION, first through the pool itself and then along the converter's route
  • Credits the creator's share to the reward lock tied to the memecoin and sends the protocol share to the treasury
  • Defers any fee that cannot be converted within the price-impact bound to a converter ledger for a keeper
  • Emits PoolSwap and fee events on every swap so indexers can follow pools from this hook alone
Swap behaviour
Every swap is taxed in the unspecified currency at hookFeeBps plus creatorTaxBps; the fee is converted into STITION inside the same unlock or deferred to the converter if conversion fails, with a PoolSwap event emitted per swap.
Liquidity behaviour
No liquidity callbacks.
Fee behaviour
Each swap takes hookFeeBps (default 1%, owner-adjustable up to 10%) plus the pool's creatorTaxBps, both applied to the unspecified currency, and returns that amount as a positive afterSwap delta so the swapper pays it. Of the protocol fee portion, protocolFeeShareBps (default 30%) goes to the protocol side and the rest to the creator; the protocol side can be further split with protocolTeamBps (default 0). Creator and protocol legs are converted into STITION and routed to the reward lock and treasury; anything that cannot be converted is deferred to the converter for a keeper.
Owner & admin controls
Owner (Ownable2Step, two-step transfer, renounce disabled) can set the one-time factory, converter, reward lock and STITION token addresses, change protocolFeeRecipient, protocolFeeShareBps (max 50%), protocolTeamBps (max 100%), hookFeeBps (max 10%), maxInternalPriceImpactBps (1 to 9999 bps), and the feeSweepOperator. The factory can update a pool's creator fee recipient. Fee terms are frozen per pool at registration, so owner changes to protocol fee settings apply only to pools registered afterward, though the owner-set hookFeeBps and recipient are read live from storage at registration only; no pause or upgrade mechanism was found.

Enabled Uniswap v4 callbacks

beforeInitialize, afterSwap, afterSwapReturnDelta

beforeInitialize restricts pool initialization to the factory. afterSwap computes and takes the hook fee, emits swap records, and converts or defers the fee into STITION, returning the fee as a delta (afterSwapReturnDelta) so it is collected from the swapper.

Security & trust assessment

Risk level: medium (verified source, high confidence).

Who controls it: The owner can raise hookFeeBps to 10% on new pools, change the protocol fee recipient to redirect future protocol fees, and change the fee sweep operator, all without user consent. The owner cannot change frozen per-pool creator tax and cannot pause swaps. The factory can reassign the creator fee recipient of any pool.

Risk to user funds: The hook takes a fee of the swap's unspecified currency and holds it only transiently within the swapper's unlock; it can also transfer funds to the reward lock, treasury or converter. Owner settings can change the fee rate and recipient for new pools, but cannot seize existing balances or block trading.

Security findings

  • [info] Mandatory swap fee via return delta: The afterSwap callback takes hookFeeBps plus creatorTaxBps from every swap as a return delta, so swappers always pay this fee. Combined creator tax plus hook fee is capped at 20% per registration.
  • [medium] Owner-controlled fee parameters and recipient: Owner can change protocolFeeRecipient, protocolFeeShareBps and hookFeeBps; these take effect for pools registered after the change, so the owner can redirect fee flow for future launches.
  • [low] Fee waiver fallback on failure: If the hook is blocked by a quote asset issuer or the conversion and deferral both fail, the fee is waived for that swap, which the owner or issuer could trigger indirectly.
  • [low] Conversions executed against live pool price: Internal conversions are capped by maxInternalPriceImpactBps, and the caller's minimum outputs are the real protection against manipulation; the hook performs swaps during user swaps, so pool price state influences conversion outcomes.
