What it does
A token launch hook that acts as the pool's own market maker, pricing every buy and sell itself, charging a fixed constant swap fee sent to a fee collector, and blocking outside liquidity providers.
How it works step by step
- Launches a single token pool where the hook itself acts as the market maker, quoting buys and sells from its own pricing curve rather than normal LP positions.
- Blocks outside liquidity: add-liquidity and remove-liquidity callbacks appear to revert, so only the hook's launch setup provides liquidity.
- Charges a swap fee (a fixed FEE_PIPS constant, with a separate CAP_PIPS limit) and accrues it as pending fees for a fee collector.
- Includes price-move guards (PriceMovedTooMuch, LimitTooTight) and tracks a reference block to limit price jumps per block.
- Anyone can trigger fee collection or a sweep to the fee collector; the owner launches the pool once.
- Swap behaviour
- Swaps run through the hook's own pricing via swap return deltas: the hook settles trades against its internal reserves, takes a fee, and reverts if the price moves too much or liquidity is insufficient. Swaps are only allowed after launch.
- Liquidity behaviour
- The hook runs on add and remove liquidity and appears to reject third-party positions, so outside LPs cannot provide liquidity; liquidity is supplied by the owner at launch and held through the hook's design, not by regular LPs.
- Fee behaviour
- A fixed fee constant (FEE_PIPS) is taken on swaps, bounded by a CAP_PIPS constant; exact percentages cannot be read from bytecode. Fees accrue as pending fees and are sent to a feeCollector address via collectFees or sweep.
- Owner & admin controls
- The owner can call launch once to set up the pool, token, and initial parameters. No functions to change fees or pause after launch were found; fee values appear to be constants.
Enabled Uniswap v4 callbacks
beforeInitialize, beforeAddLiquidity, beforeRemoveLiquidity, beforeSwap, afterSwap, beforeDonate, beforeSwapReturnDelta, afterSwapReturnDelta
beforeInitialize restricts pool setup; beforeAddLiquidity and beforeRemoveLiquidity gate or block outside LP actions; beforeSwap prices and settles trades with return deltas; afterSwap applies fees and checks; beforeDonate blocks donations; swap return deltas let the hook replace normal AMM pricing and take fees.
Security & trust assessment
Risk level: medium, estimated (decoded bytecode, low confidence).
Who controls it: The owner launches the pool once and sets its initial parameters; no post-launch fee or pause controls were found in bytecode.
Risk to user funds: Traders' swap amounts are settled by the hook's own pricing and fee logic through return deltas; exact fee size is unknown from bytecode. Public LPs cannot add positions, so no third-party LP principal is held.
Security findings
- [medium] Hook-controlled pricing via return deltas: The hook replaces normal AMM pricing with its own curve using swap return deltas; exact fee and curve parameters are not verifiable from bytecode.
- [info] Outside liquidity blocked: Add and remove liquidity callbacks are enabled and appear to reject third-party LPs, so this is not a pool for public LPs.
- [info] Fee constants: Fees come from fixed FEE_PIPS and CAP_PIPS constants with no visible setter, and are paid to a fee collector.
