What it does

Launchpad fee hook that charges every buy and sell a 0.3% to 1% market-cap-tiered protocol fee plus a fixed creator fee up to 10%, with optional short anti-snipe buy caps, while LPs withdraw freely.

This read was written for the hook 0x2dfb…e0cc on BNB Chain and reused here: the two share a code shape, so constants such as fees, owners and addresses can differ.

How it works step by step

  • Charges a fee in the quote asset (e.g. BNB or a stablecoin) on every buy and sell of launchpad tokens, made of a protocol fee plus a creator fee.
  • Protocol fee is tiered by the token's fully diluted market cap: 1% below tier 1, 0.5% between tiers, 0.3% above tier 2 (1% if no price can be read).
  • Creator buy and sell fees are fixed per launch at registration, each capped at 10%, and cannot be changed later.
  • Optional opening protection limits how many tokens a single buy, or all buyers together, can receive during a 10 to 600 second window after launch; sells are never restricted.
  • Only the launch factory can register tokens and only the designated initializer can create pools with this hook.
Swap behaviour
On each swap of a registered token the hook takes a fee of 0.3% to 1% protocol plus 0% to 10% creator from the quote-asset side (from input on exact-in quote, from output otherwise) and forwards it to the fee splitter. During an optional launch window, buys exceeding the per-buy or total cap revert; sells are never blocked.
Liquidity behaviour
No liquidity callbacks; LPs can add and withdraw freely.
Fee behaviour
Total swap fee is 0.3% to 1% protocol (lower as market cap grows) plus a fixed creator fee of 0% to 10% set per launch, so at most 11%. Fees go to FeeSplitterV2, which splits the protocol part between two treasuries and the creator part among creator, holder distributions and optional buy-and-burn.
Owner & admin controls
The hook itself has no owner; fees are fixed constants plus per-launch creator fees capped at 10%. The FeeSplitter owner can redirect a launch's creator payout address, change the treasury split and set the keeper, but cannot change what traders pay.

Enabled Uniswap v4 callbacks

beforeInitialize, beforeSwap, afterSwap, beforeSwapReturnDelta, afterSwapReturnDelta

beforeInitialize restricts pool creation to the initializer; beforeSwap takes the fee when the quote amount is specified; afterSwap enforces launch caps and takes the fee from the quote side otherwise; beforeSwapReturnDelta and afterSwapReturnDelta charge those fees against the swap amounts.

Security & trust assessment

Risk level: low (verified source, high confidence).

Who controls it: The hook is immutable with no admin; the FeeSplitter owner can redirect creator fee income and adjust the treasury split. Nobody can raise trader fees beyond the fixed per-launch values.

Risk to user funds: The hook only takes the stated swap fee from the quote asset, between 0.3% and 11% of the quote amount. LP principal is never touched and withdrawals are unrestricted.

Security findings

  • [info] Bounded swap fee: Combined fee is at most 11% (1% protocol max plus 10% creator max), fixed per launch and not adjustable afterwards.
  • [low] Creator payout address can be reassigned: The FeeSplitterV2 owner can change who receives a launch's creator fee share at any time; this does not change trader costs.
  • [info] Opening buy caps: Optional per-buy and total buy caps expire after at most 10 minutes and never apply to sells.
  • [info] Unrestricted LP withdrawals: Remove-liquidity callbacks are disabled, so the hook cannot block or charge LP withdrawals.
