What it does

Creator coin hook that, on every swap, takes the pool's LP fees, converts them into the creator's backing currency and pays them out to the creator, referrers and protocol while re-minting part of the fees back as liquidity.

How it works step by step

  • Mints a multi-curve set of liquidity positions for the coin on pool initialization (afterInitialize).
  • On every swap, collects LP fees from all positions via modifyLiquidity with zero delta.
  • Re-mints one third of collected fees as new single-sided LP positions outside the current tick.
  • Swaps remaining fees to the backing currency through a configured multi-hop path.
  • Pays creator rewards (50%) and protocol remainder in the backing currency, with trade and platform referrer shares only in the full market-reward variant.
  • Supports coin-initiated liquidity migration to a registered upgrade target.
Swap behaviour
On afterSwap, the hook collects accrued LP fees from its positions, mints a portion back as LP reward, swaps the remaining fees to the payout currency through a multi-hop path, distributes them as creator-directed rewards and emits a Swapped event.
Liquidity behaviour
On pool initialization it mints a multi-curve set of discovery positions plus a tail position covering the full price range. On each swap it re-mints one-third of collected fees as new single-sided positions just outside the current tick. Liquidity can be burned and moved to a new hook only through migrateLiquidity called by the coin.
Fee behaviour
The pool uses a static 3% LP fee (LP_FEE_V4 = 30000 bps). On each swap, accrued LP fees are collected, one third is re-minted back into single-sided positions as LP reward, and the remainder is swapped to the payout currency and split between creator, platform referrer, trade referrer, Doppler and protocol recipients.
Owner & admin controls
Hook is owner-less in its own logic: no admin setter for fees, pause or parameters found in the verified source. Upgrades only happen by coin-initiated migrateLiquidity, gated by the immutable upgradeGate registry of allowed upgrade paths; the coin itself (not an admin key) is the sole caller allowed to migrate a pool's positions.

Who controls it: No privileged owner key can alter fees, pause swaps or drain funds in the hook logic shown. Recipient addresses (payout recipient, platform referrer, protocol recipient, Doppler fee recipient) are read from the coin and are the main value destinations; their control is outside this hook.

Risk to user funds: The hook holds LP positions and transiently holds fee and reward balances during afterSwap; it transfers reward currency to creator, referrers, Doppler and protocol recipients and can take tokens from the pool. Users' swaps are exposed to reverts from reward transfers and to sandwiching during fee conversion, but no owner can freeze or redirect pool funds in the code shown.

Security findings

  • [medium] Swap can revert on reward payout: Market rewards are swapped and paid out inside afterSwap, so the swap callback depends on the swap path and reward transfers succeeding; a failing transfer (e.g. a non-standard token or a blocked ETH recipient) can revert the user's swap.
  • [low] Reward conversion swaps are sandwichable: Fee accounting relies on pool-manager deltas and transient balances from several unlock/take operations; pool-level MEV or sandwiching around reward swaps is possible since rewards are converted on the same pool at swap time.
