What it does

A permissioned-swap hook that lets only owner-approved adapters and accounts trade, adds no extra fee beyond the pool's static fee, and never restricts LP withdrawals.

How it works step by step

  • Checks every swap before it runs and only allows approved callers to trade in pools using this hook.
  • Keeps two owner-managed allowlists: approved adapters (routers or contracts that call the pool) and approved accounts (end users).
  • Does not take any fee or change swap amounts; it only allows or rejects swaps.
  • Has no liquidity callbacks, so LPs can add and remove liquidity freely.
Swap behaviour
Before each swap the hook checks whether the calling adapter and/or account is on the owner's allowlist and reverts the swap if not. Swap amounts and prices are not changed.
Liquidity behaviour
No liquidity callbacks; LPs can add and withdraw freely.
Fee behaviour
Uses the pool's static fee.
Owner & admin controls
The owner (two-step ownership transfer) can add or remove adapters and accounts from the allowlists at any time, which controls who can swap. There are no fee or fund controls.

Enabled Uniswap v4 callbacks

beforeSwap

beforeSwap: gates swaps by checking the adapter and account allowlists.

Security & trust assessment

Risk level: medium, estimated (decoded bytecode, medium confidence).

Who controls it: A single owner manages the adapter and account allowlists. The worst they can do is stop specific or all users from swapping; they cannot touch funds.

Risk to user funds: The hook cannot touch trader or LP funds and charges no fee. LP principal cannot be locked or drained, though swaps out of the pool can be denied to non-allowlisted users.

Security findings

  • [medium] Owner-controlled trader allowlist: The owner can approve or remove adapters and accounts, so they can block any trader or router from swapping at any time, including selling.
  • [info] LP withdrawals unrestricted: Remove-liquidity callbacks and all return deltas are disabled, so the hook cannot block withdrawals or take tokens from swaps or LPs.
  • [info] Unverified bytecode: Exact gating logic is inferred from bytecode; the swap check is a view function with no fund movement.
