What it does
This launchpad hook charges higher buy fees to early or sniper buyers and a lower sell fee, capped at a maximum buy fee, and sends part of the fees to buybacks, the platform, the creator and liquidity compounding.
How it works step by step
- Acts as a launchpad hook: the launch(address,...) function creates and initializes a token market paired with a native wrapped asset, with an initial supply and tick spacing
- Implements a sniper and buy-fee schedule: buyFeeFor, sellFeeFor and sniperFeeNow expose per-address fee values, with MAX_TOTAL_BUY_FEE capping buy fees
- Routes a share of collected fees to a buyback: BUYBACK_SHARE_BPS and executeBuyback(address,uint256) suggest fees are used to buy back tokens
- Accrues and distributes rewards: accrued, platformAccrued, flushRewards, claimCreator, claimPlatform and compoundLiquidity track and pay out fee balances to the creator, platform and liquidity
- Uses a return-delta mechanism (beforeSwapReturnDelta and afterSwapReturnDelta enabled) so the hook can take a portion of swap amounts as fees and reroute currency
- Uses an unlockCallback path with self-unlock, calling the pool manager's take and unlock functions to move currency in and out of the pool during fee processing
- Swap behaviour
- beforeSwap and afterSwap are active. Swaps are gated and a fee is taken through return deltas. Buy-side swaps are charged buyFeeFor (which can be elevated for snipers via sniperFeeNow, capped by MAX_TOTAL_BUY_FEE), and sell-side swaps are charged sellFeeFor. Part of the fee is routed to buyback, platform and creator accruals.
- Liquidity behaviour
- beforeAddLiquidity is active and can restrict adding liquidity. Liquidity can be compounded via compoundLiquidity, which reinvests accrued fees. Removal callbacks are not enabled.
- Fee behaviour
- Dynamic, not static. Buy fees depend on the address and on a sniper schedule that decays over time up to MAX_TOTAL_BUY_FEE. Sell fees come from sellFeeFor. Collected fees are split among buyback, platform and creator accruals and liquidity compounding.
- Owner & admin controls
- A stored address (storage slot 0) is set during launch and claimCreator/bindRouter and claimPlatform indicate a privileged platform or creator role that can bind the router and withdraw accrued fees. Reads of a boolean flag at slot 3 offset 20 are gated by owner-like checks. No explicit pause function was decoded. Upgradeability was not observed.
Enabled Uniswap v4 callbacks
beforeInitialize, beforeAddLiquidity, beforeSwap, afterSwap, beforeSwapReturnDelta, afterSwapReturnDelta
beforeInitialize sets up the market and records the pool key on launch. beforeAddLiquidity gates liquidity additions. beforeSwap computes and charges dynamic buy/sell and sniper fees via return delta. afterSwap settles fees and updates accruals. beforeSwapReturnDelta and afterSwapReturnDelta let the hook take a share of swap amounts.
Security & trust assessment
Risk level: medium, estimated (decoded bytecode, medium confidence).
Who controls it: The creator or platform role can claim accrued fees, bind the router and trigger buybacks. Fee parameters may also be adjustable through the decoded privileged path, which could alter fees for all traders.
Risk to user funds: The hook holds accrued fee balances and moves currency via take and unlock during swaps and reward flushes. User principal sits in the pool, but swap fees and accrued rewards are custodied by the hook and can be withdrawn by privileged roles.
Security findings
- [medium] Return-delta fee capture: beforeSwapReturnDelta and afterSwapReturnDelta are enabled, so the hook can take a portion of every swap. Fee rates are computed on-chain and depend on the sniper schedule and per-address buy fees.
- [medium] Privileged fee claiming: claimPlatform, claimCreator, flushRewards and executeBuyback move accrued funds and are gated by a stored role address and a boolean flag. A compromised privileged key could drain accrued fees.
- [info] Sniper fee schedule: sniperFeeNow is time or state dependent and can raise buy fees for early buyers up to MAX_TOTAL_BUY_FEE, which affects traders' effective prices.
- [info] Self-unlock and currency movement: The hook calls the pool manager's unlock and take functions from unlockCallback, so it does move pool currency during fee processing.
